Ulusal Meclis'in persembe günü genel kurul toplantisi düzenleyecegi beklentileri iktidar ve muhalefetin tartismali yasa tasarisi üzerinde durmasi ile belirsiz hale geldi.

Iktidardaki Büyük Ulusal Parti (GNP) Ulusal Seçim Komisyonu’nun web sitesinde geçen ekim ayindaki seçimler sirasinda olan siber saldirilarin önlenmesi için özel bir sorusturma organinin kurulmasi yasalarinin üzerinde durulacagi genel kurul toplantisinin açilmasini istiyor. GNP persembe günü bir oturum düzenleyerek medya temsilcileri ile bu yasa tasarisini ele almayi düsünüyor.

Prospects of the National Assembly holding a plenary session on Thursday have become uncertain with the ruling and opposition camps at odds over a contentious bill.

The ruling Grand National Party (GNP) wants to open the plenary session to address legislation that would establish a special investigative body to probe the cyber attacks on the National Election Commission’s Web site during by-elections last October. The GNP is also hoping to handle a bill on media representatives on Thursday by holding the session.

Defense ministry, KIST agree on cooperation

Savunma Bakanligi, KIST destegini kabul etti

Savunma Bakani Kim Kwan-jin (Solda) ve devlet tarafindan isletilen, Kore Bilim ve Teknoloji Enstitüsü (KIST) Baskani Moon Kil-choo, 19 Ocak 2012 tarihinde Seoul'deki Savunma Bakanligi destegi üzerine bir sözlesme imzaladiktan sonra poz verdi. MOU kapsaminda, bakanligin, askeri olmayan silah sistemi altinda ürünler üretmek ve ticarilestirmek için KIST'nin teknik veri ve patent bilgilerine erismesi mümkün olacak. Silah sistemi olmayan, silah ve bireysel birlik destegi, savas olanaklarinda silah parçalari, tesisler ve yazilim gibi askeri ekipman malzemeleri içeriyor.

SNU Profesörü Ahn: Ben Politikaci Degilim

Seoul Ulusal Üniversite Profesörü Ahn Cheol-soo, bir politikaci olmadigini yineledi.

Genis çapta, potansiyel bir baskan adayi olarak kabul edilen Ahn, Cuma günü, Seoul Yonhap News ile yapilan bir röportaj sirasinda açiklama yapti.

En iyi bilgi teknolojisi adamlari ile görüsmek üzere Amerika Birlesik Devletleri'ni ziyarete gelen Ahn, Yonhap'a kesin açiklama yapmamis olmasina ragmen, yazilarin sürekli ondan ve baskanlik yarisindan bahsettigini söyledi.

Ahn bu yilki baskanlik seçimlerinde adayligini koymaya niyeti olup olmadigi soruldugunda, ayrintili bir cevap vermedi.

Seoul National University Professor Ahn Cheol-soo has reiterated that he is not a politician.

Ahn made the remark on Friday during an interview with Seoul-based Yonhap News as he is being widely considered as a potential presidential candidate.

Ahn, who is visiting the United States to meet with top information technology moguls, told Yonhap that stories are continuously mentioning him and the presidential race, though he has made no definite remarks.

When asked if he has intentions to run in this year’s presidential elections, Ahn did not give an elaborate answer.

Nearly 1,500 Prelim Candidates Register for General Elections

Genel Seçimler Için Yaklasik 1500 Aday Basvurdu

Yaklasik 1500 aday adayinin katilimiyla birlikte 11. Nisan parlamento seçimleri için adaylik yarisinda rekabet kizisacak.

Ulusal Seçim Komitesi pazartesiden itibaren ortalama 6'ya 1 rekabet oraniyla yurt çapindaki 245 seçim bölgesinde 1477 aday adayinin basvuruda bulundugu tahmininde bulundu.

Eyalet ve sehirlere göre, Incheon 7.3 oranla en rekabetçi sehir. Baskent Seoulde oran 6.2'de kalirken Ulsan sehrinde ve Kuzey Chungcheong Eyaletinde en düsük oran olan 4.3 görüldü.

Bir politikaciya göre bu yil rekor sayida vekilin görevinden olmasi tahmin edilirken politika sahnesinde çok sayida yeni yüz görülecek.

Competition will be high in candidate nominations for the April eleventh parliamentary elections to the tune of nearly 15-hundred preliminary candidates.

The National Election Commission estimates that as of Monday, 14-hundred-77 preliminary candidates have registered in 245 electoral districts nationwide for an average competition ratio of six to one.

By province and city, Incheon is the most competitive with a ratio of seven-point-three to one. Ulsan City and North Chungcheong Province both sport the lowest competition ratio at four-point-three to one, while the ratio stands at six-point-two to one in capital Seoul.

A political insider says as rival camps are forecast to unseat a record number of lawmakers this year, a greater number of new faces is stepping onto the political stage.

Seoul to Block Embassy Entry of NK Escapees during Election

Seoul, Seçim Süresince K. Kore Kaçaklarinin Elçilik Girislerini Önleyecek

Ulusal Seçim Komisyonu, nisan parlamento seçimleri oylama dönemi boyunca Kuzey Koreli kaçaklarin Çin'deki Güney Kore elçiliklerine girisini engelleyecek.

Komisyondaki bir yetkili KBS ile yaptigi telefon görüsmesi sirasinda, tedbirin Çinle diplomatik uyusmazliklari önlemek için oldugunu söyledi. Yetkili, Kuzey Koreli kaçaklarin Güney Kore elçiliklerine girisini kontrol altina almak için komisyonun elinden geleni yapacagini söyledi.

Komisyon, Çin güvenlik güçlerinin yardimiyla elçilik binalarinin çevrelerine polis yerlestirecek ve ayni zamanda elçilige giren ziyaretçilerin uyrugunu da kontrol edecek. Güney Kore milliyetinden olmayanlarin girmeleri engellenecek.

Genel seçimler için oylama süreci 28 Marttan 2 Ocak'a kadar. 290 bin kadar Güney Korelinin Çin'de yasadigi düsünülüyor. Seçimler, 11 Nisanda Güney Kore'de yer alacak.

The National Election Commission will block North Korean defectors from entering South Korean embassies in China during the overseas voting period for the April parliamentary elections.

During a telephone interview with KBS, an official at the commission said the measure is to prevent diplomatic friction with China. The official said the commission will put forth their best efforts to control the entry of North Korean escapees into South Korean missions.

With help from the Chinese security force, the commission will station officers around embassy buildings and also check the nationality of visitors entering the embassy. Those who are not South Korean nationals could be banned from entering.

The overseas voting period for the general elections is from March 28th to April second. Some 290-thousand South Koreans are believed to reside in China. The elections take place in South Korea on April eleventh.

DUP Chief Proposes Introducing Mobile Voting System

Ana muhalefet Demokratik Birlesmis Parti (DBP) baskani Han Myeong-sook, mobil oylama sistemine geçmek için Büyük Ulusal Parti (BUP)'ye seçim yasasini gözden geçirmeyi önerdi.

Han çarsamba günü partinin önde gelen üyelerine, mobil oylamanin Kore politikasindaki oy satin alma olaylarina kesin çözüm olabilecegini söyledi. DBP baskani, BUP olaganüstü hal liderlik komitesi baskani Park Geun-hye'nin bu konu hakkinda yanitini bekleyecegini söyledi.

DBP baskani, iktidar partisinin yalnizca BUP'nin mevcut durumda düsündügü reform önlemlerinden bazisi olan mevcut parti sistemi ve karar veren Yüksek Surasini kaldirarak reform yapamayacagini söyledi.

Main opposition Democratic United Party (DUP) Chairwoman Han Myeong-sook has proposed to the ruling Grand National party a revision to the election law to introduce a mobile voting system.

Han on Wednesday told a meeting of the party’s supreme members that the introduction of mobile voting could become a fundamental solution to vote-buying practices in Korean politics. The DUP chief said she will wait for GNP emergency leadership committee chief Park Geun-hye’s response on the matter.

The DUP chief said that the ruling party cannot reform properly by merely abolishing its decision-making Supreme Council and the current party system, which are some of the reform measures the GNP is currently considering.

Iktidardaki Büyük Ulusal Parti, genel seçimlerde aday olan parti adaylari için gelecek hafta inceleme komitesi olusturacak.

BUP acil liderlik komitesi alt subesi, yetenekli bireyler alma girisimlerini hizlandirmak üzere 2 kez seminer düzenleyecek.

Ana muhalefet Demokratik Birlesik Parti (DBP) bu hafta genel seçim planlama ekibi ve gelecek hafta aday adayligi inceleme komitesi kurmayi planliyor.

DBP baskani Han Myeong-sook, su anda aday adayligi inceleme komitesine baskanlik edecek birini ariyor. Muhtemelen DBP Genel Sekreteri Lim Jong-seok, aday adayligi sürecinin detaylarini denetleyecek olan partinin genel seçim planlama ekibini yönetecek.

Political parties have actively launched efforts in preparation for the April general elections.

The ruling Grand National Party (GNP) plans to form a screening committee next week for nominating party candidates for the general elections.

The GNP emergency leadership committee’s subcommittee on recruiting talents will also hold workshops twice to speed up their efforts to recruit competent individuals.

The main opposition Democratic United Party (DUP) plans to set up a general election planning team this week and a candidate nomination screening committee next week.

DUP Chairwoman Han Myeong-sook is currently seeking out a figure to head the candidate nomination screening committee. DUP Secretary General Lim Jong-seok is likely to head the party’s general election planning group, which will oversee details of the candidate nomination process.

Both the ruling and opposition camps are exerting best efforts to reform their candidate nomination process in a bid to regain the public’s trust and support.
