Park Jong-Ho, 27 Temmuz 1973 yilinda dogmustur. Kore Beyzbol Teskilat'n da LG Twins için oynayan Güney Koreli ikinci kalecidir. Sag elini kullanan bir switch hitter'dir. Park, KBO tarihinde switch hitter olarak, batting title kazanan ilk oyuncudur.

Profesyonel Kariyeri

Seongnam Lisesin'den mezun olduktan sonra, Park, 1992'de LG Twins'le KBO baslangici yapti. 7 RBI ve 14 vurus ile 192. Vuruslarla ilk KBO sezonunu bitirdi.
1994 yilinda, Park, ikinci meydanci olarak 105 oyunda oynadi, 21 esas, career-high ve 56 runs'da küme, 6 home runs'da vurusla 260 vurus yapti. Kore Serisi basligini saglama almak için takimina yardimci oldu ve ikinci üssünde ilk Altin Eldiven Ödülünü kazandi.
1998 sezonu öncesinde, Park, Hyundai Unicorns'a takas edildi.
1999 yilinda, profesyonel kariyerinde , 55 RBIs ve career-high 10 home run biriktirdi ve 300 (0,301) averaj vurusu yapti.

Park Jong-Ho / 박종호 (Baseball Player)

Park Jong-Ho (born July 27, 1973) is a South Korean second baseman who plays for the LG Twins in the Korea Baseball Organization. He is a switch hitter, and throws right-handed. Park is the first player to win a batting title as a switch hitter in KBO history.

Professional Career

Upon graduation from Seongnam HIgh School, Park made his KBO debut in 1992 with the LG Twins. He finished his first KBO season batting .192 with 14 hits and 7 RBIs.
In 1994, Park batted .260, hit 6 home runs, drove in 56 runs and stole a career-high 21 bases, playing in 105 games as a starting second baseman. He helped his team to clinch Korean Series title and won his first Golden Glove award at second base.
Prior to the 1998 season, Park was traded to the Hyundai Unicorns.
In 1999, Park hit his first .300 batting average (.301) in his pro career, amassing a career-high 10 home runs and 55 RBIs.
In 2000, Park finished with a .340 average, becoming the first player to win a batting title as a switch hitter. After the season, he won his second Golden Glove award as well. In August, Park was part of the South Korea national baseball team that won the bronze medal at the 2000 Summer Olympics.
