Bokbunja Kelimesinin Kökeni

Uzun zaman önce bir oğulları olmasını isteyen bir aile varmış. Ancak çare olacağına inanılan bütün ilaçların işe yaramaması onları çaresizliğe düşürmüş.

Bir gün Sunwoonsa'daki bir din adamından dağda bulunan siyah böğürtlenleri yediklerinde sağlıklarına kavuşacaklarını duymuşlar. Böylece Bokbunja'yı bulmuş, yemişler ve şaşırtıcı bir şekilde o kadar sağlıklı olmuşlar ki, her tuvalete gittiklerinde lazımlıkları kırılmış.

Böylece böğürtlenin adı, lazımlığı deviren anlamındaki Bokbunja olmuştur.

Bokbunja içkisi yalnızca lezzetli Bokbunja meyveleri ve Bokbunja'nin ahududuya benzeyen bir türüyle yapılmaktadır. Sunwoonsa'nın özel bir ürünü olan Bokbunja içkisi Haziran ve Eylül ayları arasında eşler tarafından yapılır kullanılan Bokbunja'lar dağın derinliklerinde yetişmektedir ve zehirli değildir.

Origin of the word Bokbunja

Long time ago, there was a couple who wanted to give a birth to a boy. However they were so weak that all the medicines that were known to be good for the health were useless to them.

One day, they heard from a reverend of Sunwoonsa that they will regin their health by eating black berries of the mountain. So they found and ate Bokbunja, and surprisingly enough, they became so healthy that the chamber pot flipped every time they urinated.

So the berry was named Bokbunja which means the chamber pot turned over when the son urinated.

Bokbunja liquor is made with only the tasteful Bokbunja fruits and Bokbunja a type of raspberry. Bokbunja liquor, the special product of Sunwoonsa, is a liquor made by wives between June~September using Bokbunja fruits that grows deep in the mountain and are not polluted.
