Ongnankae, Jebudo Adası ve Hwaseong'un tutulan bir turizm merkezi olan Gungpyeong-ri arasındaki kıyı kesiminde bulunan Wangmodae Kumsalı'nın yanındadır. Ongnankae is near Wangmodae Beach in the shore section between Jebudo Island and Gungpyeong-ri, a popular tourist destination of Hwaseong. The house, perched on a hilltop, looks down onto Namyangman Bay, and the surrounding setting is breathtakingly beautiful. It combines the elegance of a traditional Korean home with the modern convenience of a contemporary hotel. In spite of the extensive remodeling work undergone by this house, a small room is kept in its original state, complete with its wood-fired floor-heating system, for the delight of those who long for the full experience of a traditional Korean home. The villa is rented as a whole house for a single group of renters, on a weekly basis. This was deemed the best by the owner, for the privacy and comfort of guests as well as to avoid unnecessary wear-and-tear damages on the house.
