Hakkında
Kore’nin ilk çay müzesidir. Resmi adı “Seollok Çay Müzesi Oh! Seollok”. Seollok Çayı üretim Amore Pacific Anonim Şirketi tarafından Eylül 2001’de kuruldu. Amore Pacific Şirketi’nin Seowang Çay tarlasına yerleştirilmiştir. Amore Pasific Çay Şirketi 3 çay tarlasını Jeju Adası’nda idare etmektedir. Dosun Çay Tarlası, Hannam Çay Tarlası ve Seogwang Çay tarlası. Müze binasi, 8100㎡ arazi üzerinde yaklaşik 1540 ㎡ büyüklüğündedir. Bina çay fincani ve fincan tabağı şeklindedir ve Jeju adasına has cins taştan yapılmıştır. Binaya sergi alanı, hediye dükkanı, gözlem güvertesi dahildir. Müze, Gaya devrinden Joseon Hanedanlığına kadar yapılmış yaklaşık 140 çay fincanı sergilemektedir. Çay ve yeşil çayın nasıl yapıldığına dair eğitici videolar oynatılmaktadır. (Müze) çeşitli özel sergiler de düzenlemektedir, ‘Kore Çayı’nın Esansı’ gibi. Müze birkaç bahçe tarafından çevrelenip bir göletle devam etmektedir. Description
It is Korea’s first tea museum. Its official name is “Seollok Tea Museum Oh! Seollok.” It was established by Amore Pacific Corporation, which produces Seollok Tea, in September 2001. It is located by Seogwang Tea Field of Amore Pacific Corporation. Amore Pacific Corporation is managing three tea fields in Jejudo Island: Dosun Tea Field, Hannam Tea Field, and Seogwang Tea Field. The museum building is about 1,540㎡ in size in a 8,100㎡ property. The building is shaped like a tea cup and saucer, using Jejudo Island’s unique type of stone. The building includes an exhibition zone, gift shop, and observation deck.
The museum exhibits about 140 tea cups that have been made since the Age of Gaya until the Joseon Dynasty. Educational videos on the history of tea and how green tea is made are played. It also programs various special exhibitions, such as ‘The Scent of Korean Tea.’
The observation deck is overlooking Mt. Halla and the Tea Field. The museum is surrounded by several gardens and a trail with a pond. The driving course across the green tea field is a popular dating course for couples.
