Orijinal belgeler'in dört kopyasi, Seoul-Chunchugwan'da ve Joseon'un ilk dönemlerinde Chungju, Jeonju, ve Seongju arsivlerlerinde saklanir fakat bir tanesi, Jeonju'da, Japon Hücumlarindan(1592-98) beklenen saldiri esnasinda tahrip olmustur.
Orijinal belgeler'in yeni kopyasi, Kral Seonjo'nun(1567-1608) 39. yili 1606'da Taebaeksan, Myohyangsan, Manisan, ve Odaesan Dagi kayitlarinin ve Chunchugwan'da olanlarinin yerine yapilmistir.
Ancak Chunchugwan'da olan bir tanesi, 1624'te Yi Gwal Ayaklanmasi'nda ve 1636'da Qing Saldirisi'nda yakilmistir.
Ve daha sonra digerleri Jeongjoksan, Taebaeksan, Jeoksangsan, ve Odaesan Daglari'ndaki arsivlere koyulmustur.

It is one of five royal libraries built during the late Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910), for The True Record of the Joseon Dynasty and The Genealogy of The Royal Family. The four copies of True Record was stored at Chunchugwan in Seoul and at archives in Chungju, Jeonju, and Seongju in the early Joseon Ear but the ones was destroyed during the 1592-98 Japanese Aggressions except one in Jeonju.
New copies of The True Record were made to replace the ones and placed at Chunchugwan and archives in Mt. Taebaeksan, Myohyangsan, Manisan, and Odaesan in 1606, the 39th year of the reign of King Seonjo (1567-1608).
However, the one in Chunchugwan was burned during the 1624 Yi Gwal's Revolt and the 1636 Qing aggression.
And later the others were deposited at archives in Jeongjoksan, Taebaeksan, Jeoksangsan, and Odaesan Mountains.
The copies at Jeongjoksan and Taebaeksan are now Seoul National University.
The Jeoksangsan copy was lost during the Korean War (1950-53), and the Odaesan one was moved to Tokyo Imperial University in Japan and destroyed during the Great Earthquake of 1923.
The place for the archive at Mt. Odaesan was thought to be able to withstand fire, wind and water.
