Nexon Co. Ltd. (TYO: 3659) Güney Koreli video oyun geliştiricisi ve yayınlayıcısıdır. 1994'de Seul'de kurulan Nexon'un şu anki merkezi Tokyo, Japonya'dadır.

Tarihi

Nexon Co. Ltd. Aralık 1994'da ilk başlığı olan 1996'daki Nexus: The Kingdom of Wings'in yayınlandığı yer olan Kore'de kurulmuştur. İlk başlıktan sonra bunu takip eden bir çok başlık yayınlamışlardır. Dark Ages: Online Roleplaying, Elemental Saga, QuizQuiz, KartRider, Elancia ve Shattered Galaxy... 2003'de Kore'de Nexon, daha sonra en başarılı başlık olacak olan MapleStory'yi geliştirdi. Oyun Japonya, Çin, Tayvan, Tailand, Singapur, Kuzey Amerika, Avrupa, Brezilya ve Vietnam gibi bir çok yere lokalize edilmiştir.
Aslen Kore'de kurulan Nexon Co. Ltd., günümüzde Japonya merkezlidir. Dört adet çalışan şirketleri vardır; Kore, Japonya, Amerika ve Avrupa'da yerleştirilmiş bulunmaktadır.

Oyunları

NX (Aslen NX nakdi ya da NX puanı olarak söylenmektedir.) gerçek ödemelerle sağlanan isteğe bağlı sanal para, sanal mallar almak için NEXON oyunlarında kullanılıyor. Nexon Co. Ltd. (TYO: 3659) is a South Korean developer and publisher of video games. Founded in Seoul in 1994, Nexon's headquarters is currently located in Tokyo, Japan.

History

Nexon Co. Ltd. was established in Korea on December 1994 where it published its first title, Nexus: The Kingdom of the Winds, in 1996. Many title releases followed such as Dark Ages: Online Roleplaying, Elemental Saga, QuizQuiz, KartRider, Elancia, and Shattered Galaxy; some of which are maintained by a company spun off of Nexon, Kru Interactive. In 2003, Nexon developed MapleStory in Korea, which later became its most successful title. The game was localized in many locations such as Japan, China, Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore, North America, Europe, Brazil, and Vietnam.
Originally founded in Korea, Nexon Co. Ltd. is currently based in Japan. Nexon Co. Ltd. has four corporations running; they are located in Korea, Japan, United States and Europe.
Nexon currently has eleven subsidiaries: Nexon Networks, Nexon Mobile, NeoPle, Nextoric, Nexonova, GameHi, NDoors, CoPersons, Nclipse, ExcGames, and Xeogen.
Nexon went public on the Tokyo Stock Exchange on December 13, 2011 in an initial public offering, the largest in Japan for 2011 and the second largest by a technological company for 2011 worldwide.

Games

NX (originally called NX cash or NX points) is an optional virtual currency that is purchased with real payment in order to purchase virtual goods that are used in NEXON games. NX might be transferable to diverse NEXON games under one and the same account of a customer, being restricted in use to that account only. NX can not be transferred between different customer accounts.
