Molak Dağı’nın yüksekliği 385 metredir ve kale dağın üstünde bulunmaktadır.
Kalenin Hansungki Baekjae döneminde inşa edildiği sanılmaktadır ve 878 metre boyunca uzanır. Kalenin ana amacı bölgeyi güneydeki Mahan ve kuzeydeki Kuguryo'dan korumaktır.
Ayrıca Mud Kalesi başkenti savunmak için görev yaptı.

The height of Molak Mountain is 385m, and this fortress is located on the peak of the mountain. The fortress is estimated to have been built during the period of Hansungki Baekjae and stretches over 878m.
The main purpose of the fortress was protecting the region form invasions from invasions from Mahan in the south and koguryo in the north. Also, the fortress was a stronghold of the poongnab Mud Castle which undertook the duty of defending the capital.
