Bu proje Jerde Ortaklık tarafından yapılmış olup Güney Kore’nin Seoul şehrinde bulunmaktadır.

Proje Tasarımı: Üç adet gökdelen konut kulesi, bir adet yüksek katlı A sınıfı ofis kulesi, tabanın da çok amaçlı kullanılan açık hava toplumsal sinema alanı ve çok performanslı bir salona sahiptir.

Tasarımcı Açıklamaları

Bu proje, Seoul şehrinin gelişmekte olan semti Hapjeong’ta yer almaktadır, burası Hapjeong tren istasyonuna bitişik durumdadır, 295.615 metrekarelik Mecenatpolis, üç adet gökdelen konut kulesi, bir adet yüksek katlı A sınıfı ofis kulesi, tabanın da çok amaçlı kullanılan açık hava toplumsal sinema alanı ve çok performanslı bir salonu ile zarif görüntüsü esinlenerek doğal bir kanyon eğriliği tasarlanmıştır.

Açık hava köyü 90.000 metrekareden oluşur, perakende satış yapılmakta ve yemek verilmektedir, bunun yanı sıra bir etkinlik salonu, eğlenmek için park bulunur, ziyaretçi ve sakinleri bir araya getirmek için çeşitli kültürel faaliyetler yer alır. Teraslı balkon, cam köprüler, manzaralı asma bahçeler, açık hava sahaları, büyüleyici su alanları bulunmakta, büyük bir merkezi plaza ile tüm sıvı düşüncesi güçlendirilmektedir. Serbest akış ritmi, Mecenatpolis'in, çekirdek alanı olan merkez plazayı şekillendiren bölge için, aktif su özelliği, açık kamusal alanların ve restoran gibi oturma alanlarının bolluğunun bulunduğu yerlerde insanları iç mekânlara doğru çekmek için tasarlanan asırlık kavramını içermektedir.Çok amaçlı salon, güzel ahşap paneller ile simgesel bir fenerin parçaları olarak tasarlanmıştır, kültürel parkın bitişiğinde yer alır, konser gibi etkinliklere ve diğer özel performanslara ev sahipliği yapmaktadır.

Bunun yanında kompleksin doğal ve karmaşık dizaynı, Seoul’un yoğun ulaşımı için konumu iyi olan bu yeni mahallede ulaşım merkezi oldu, istasyonu çevreleyen mahalleler için site üzerinden anahtar bağlantılar yapıldı ve perakende satış için trafiğe kapalı yeni bir akışkanlık yaratıldı. Kentin sakinleri doğa ile son derece iç içe yaşamaktadırlar. Şehir sakinlerinin harektli doğayı keşfiyle, yeni şehirleşen alanlar, Seoul'un otantik kültürü ve sıradan yerlerini dinamik bir şekilde birleştirirken toplumu dirilişe teşvik eden bir şehir parkını da içeren hızlı bir şehir turu yapılarak açık hava nitelikleri övüldü.

Designer's statement

This project is located in the evolving Hapjeong neighborhood in downtown Seoul, adjacent to the Hapjeong train station, the 295,615 square-meter Mecenatpolis is a transit-oriented destination featuring a composition of three high-rise luxury residential towers, one high-rise class-A office tower, and an expansive, open-air mixed-use public realm at its base, inspired by the elegant form and curve of a natural canyon.

The open-air village comprises nearly 90, 000 square meters of retail and dining, as well as an events auditorium and public park for recreational and cultural activities where visitors and residents can gather and engage. Terraced balconies, glass bridges, landscaped roof gardens, open-air spaces, mesmerizing water features and a grand central plaza all reinforce the idea of a fluid and choreographed circulation system at the core of the retail complex. The free-flowing rhythm incorporates the region’s age-old concept of a ‘unified well’ to shape the main central plaza that is Mecenatpolis’ core gathering area, which showcases an active water feature and an abundance of open-air public space and restaurant seating areas, designed to draw people inward. A multi-purpose hall, designed as an iconic lantern piece with beautiful wood paneling, sits adjacent to the cultural park and will host events such as concerts and other special performances.

The organic design of the complex evolved by reinforcing key connections through the site from the station to the surrounding neighborhoods, creating a fluid pedestrian experience within the retail, while making the best use of the location in this emerging neighborhood next to one of Seoul’s busiest transportation hubs. Realizing the highly active nature of the city's residents, the new urban destination celebrates the outdoor experience as a retreat from the fast pace of the surrounding city — an urban park that will stimulate the resurging community while providing a dynamically integrated pedestrian place, authentic to the culture of Seoul.
