Mapo Köprüsü Yonggang-dong, Mapo-gu ve Yoido-dong'a (Yeongdeungpo-gu) bağlanır ve 1400 m uzunluğunda (6 şeritli yol) genişliğinin ise 25m olduğu bilinir. Köprünün yapımı ilk kez 1968 yılının Şubat ayında başladı ve 1970 yılının Mayıs ayında tamamlandı. Tamamlanması sırasında köprüye "Seoul Köprüsü" adı verildi fakat 1984 yılından sonra adı "Mapo Köprüsü" olarak değiştirilmiştir. Hangang Nehri üzerinde Hannam Köprüsü'nün inşası sonrasında köprü inşa edilecek dördüncü köprü oldu.
Mapo Köprüsü Güney Kore'de Han Nehri üzerinden geçer ve Mapo ile Yeongdeungpo'yu bağlar.

Mapo Bridge connects Yonggang-dong, Mapo-gu and Yeouido-dong (Yeongdeungpo-gu) and is 1,400m long and 25m wide (6-lane road). The construction of the bridge first started in February of 1968 and was completed in May of 1970. At the time of its completion the bridge was named “Seoul Bridge,” which was later changed to “Mapo Bridge” in 1984. The bridge was the fourth bridge to be built over the Hangang River following the construction of Hannam Bridge.
The Mapo Bridge crosses the Han River in South Korea and connects the districts of Mapo District and Yeongdeungpo District. The bridge was completed in 1970. Until 1984, the bridge was called Seoul Bridge.
