Konusu:

Anne... Anne seyahat etmeyi seven ve çevresindeki insanları yöneten özgür ruhlu biridir. Ama onlara yardım etmez ve kızı Hee-sun ‘un kilo sorunu için endişelidir. Hayattaki tek arzusu Hee-Sun’u zayıflatmak ve onun kendine iyi bir adam bulmasıdır.
Hee-sun... Görünüşte bir yönetmen olan, ama su an işsiz ve annesinin sürekli dırdırlarından son derece rahatsız olan biridir.

Bu Eylül güneşi bir kez daha güneşte kurutulmuş kırmızı biber yapmak için geldi. Bu üç huysuz kadında kırmızı biber kurutma ritüelini gerçekleştirmek için anlaşmaya koyulmalıdırlar.

Three generations of women. Grandma... She has never stopped toiling in all her 70 years. Married at nineteen, she never even learned to put on make-up. Now her only gripe is that her daughter-in-law ignores the never-ending chores preferring the outside world to the kitchen.
Mother... Mom is a free spirit who loves traveling and bossing people around. But she cannot help but worry about her daughter Hee-sun's weight problem. Her sole wish in life is for Hee-sun to slim down and get herself a good man.
Hee-sun... A would-be filmmaker, currently unemployed and extremely annoyed by her mother's constant nagging.

It is sunny September and once again the time has come to make sun-dried red peppers. The three disgruntled women sit down to clash as they perform the ritual of drying red peppers.
