Manggyeongam Tarihi sitesi Bokjeong-dong, Sujeong-gu, ve Seoul'den bir bakışta görülüyor. Burada oturmak için Yeorae adında kaya yatak oyulmuş.
Yeorae heykelinin etrafinda en az 14 mükemmel beste vardır ve tüm düzeye kaya yüzeyleri işlenmiştir.
Bu eski Goryeo dönemi, ilk Joseon Dyansty kralları, ülkenin huzur ve barışı için dua ettiği ve yaşadığı yerdir.
Joseon Hanedanlığı, Kral Sejong Chilseongdan oğulları, Prens Pyeongwondaegun ve Jeandaegun için dua adlı sunak inşa ettiği söylendi ve ritüeller Chilseongje'yi denedi. Daha sonra 1897 yılında Kral Gojong, Yi Gyu-Seung saltanatı sırasında bir Buda heykeli oyma ve bu yerde bir yazıta göre bir Budist tapınağı inşa etti.
Göğsüne sol elini koyarak oturur. Omuzlarının üzerine bol dökümlü Budist giysi türü vardı. Burada eski Joseon Hanedanı döneminde inşa edilen 5m yüksekliğinde Mae Seul yönünde görünen heykeli ve diğer Budist heykelleri bulabilirsiniz.

Temple Maaeyeoraejwasang
The historic site of Manggyeongam sits in Bokjeong-dong, Sujeong- gu, where entire Seoul is seen at a glance. A sitting Yeorae is here in the carved rockbed.
Around the statue of Yeorae are no less than 14 excellent compositions, all engraved on leveled rock surfaces.
This is where the kings from the late Goryeo Dyansty period to the early Joseon resided praying for the nation's tranquility and peace. It is said that King Sejong of the Joseon Dynasty built here the altar named Chilseongdan to pray for his sons, Prince Pyeongwondaegun and Jeandaegun, and the rituals were called Chilseongje. Later in 1897 during the reign of King Gojong, Yi Gyu-Seung carved a Buddha statue and built a Buddhist temple here according to an inscription in this place.
The status sitting here with its legs crossed puts its left hand on the chest while laying its right one on the knee. A type of Buddhist garment is draped on its shoulders. Here, on can also find a 5m-high Mae statue, which looks in the direction of Seoul, and other Buddhist statues erected during the late Joseon Dynasty.
How to reach
-Get on the Town bus 77 after getting out of Exit 3 of the Gyongwon Univ. Station (Subway Bundang Line).
-Get off the bus at the Geonwoo Apt. bus stop and walk some 200m along the path beside the Seo ngnam Shnil Church.(10-minute walk from Bongguksa Temple)
