LIG Sanat Salonu, genç ve gelecek vaat eden sanatçıları desteklemek amacıyla 2006 yılında LG Sigorta Ltd. Şti. tarafından kurulmuştur. 2006'da LG Sigorta Ltd. Şti., kurumsal kimliğini resmi olarak LIG Sigorta Ltd. Şti. olarak değiştirmiştir ve genel merkezini Gangnam'daki yeni bir binaya taşımıştır. Böylece, tam ölçekli kurumsal bir mekan olan LIG Sanat Salonu için yeni bir dönem başlamıştır.

Resmi olarak Ağustos 2006’da açılan LIG Sanat Salonu, Seoul, Gangnam Bölgesi’ndeki LIG Sigorta genel merkezinde bulunan LIG Tower içerisinde yer almaktadır. LIG Sanat Salonu, siyah kutu bir sahne, 170 koltuk ve çok amaçlı bir prova salonu ile donatılmıştır.

Sanatsal aktiviteleri destekleyen olağanüstü bir mekan olarak kurulan ve rakipsiz tesisleri ve üretim sistemleri ile donatılan LIG Sanat Salonu, kültürel ve bölgesel bağlantıyı sağlamasının yanı sıra çağdaş sahne sanatları aracılığı ile çeşitli kültürel formları ve mekanları yansıtan programlar oluşturmaya devam edecektir. 1 Nisan 2009 tarihinde yenilenen ve LIG Sanat Vakfı tarafından işletilen LIG Sanat Salonu, yönetimini değiştirecek ve sosyal değerini daha fazla artıracaktır.

Introduction

LIG Art Hall was established in 2006 by LG Insurance Co., Ltd. , as apart of its commitments to support young and promising artists since 1998. In 2006, LG Insurance Co., Ltd. Officially changed its corporate identity to LIG I Insurance Co., Ltd. And moved its headquarters to a new building in Gangnam, thus opening a new era for LIG Art Hall to be the venue devoted to full-scale corporate Mecenat endeavor.

Officially opened in August, 2006, the LIG Art Hall is located in the LIG Tower, at the LIG Insurance headquarters in Gangnam District, Seoul. The LIG Art Hall is equipped with a black box stage, 170 seats and a multipurpose rehearsal room.

Equipped with unrivalled facilities and production systems, LIG Art Hall, which has been established as an outstanding venue by backing art activities, will keep introducing creative programs delivering various cultural forms and values through contemporary performing arts as well as serving as a cultural and inter-regional linkage. Refurbished as of April 1, 2009, LIG Art Hall run by LIG Arts Foundation will refine its managing direction and increase its social value further.

Tiyatro Salonu

Tiyatro salonu, sahnedeki gösterileri seyircilerin keyifle izleyebilmeleri için en uygun şekilde düzenlenmiştir. Dışarıdaki gürültüleri engellemek için tiyatro salonu, ses geçirmeyen duvarlar, kapılar ve ses emici bir perde ile donatılmıştır.
Ayrıca sahne ve konferans salonu zemini, mekan içindeki istenmeyen sesleri engellemek için kaplanmıştır. Tiyatro salonu, siyah kutu bir sahne ve üst düzeyde 31, ilk düzeyde ise 126 olmak üzere toplamda 157 sabit koltuk içermektedir.



L Space

L Space, çok amaçlı bir prova salonudur. 11 x 8 metre boyutlarındadır. Sadece gösteri provaları için değil; aynı seminerler ve resepsiyonlar gibi çeşitli etkinliklere de ev sahipliği yapmaktadır.



Kontrol Odası

Kontrol Odası, konferans salonunun bir tarafında, üst katta yer almaktadır. Ses, ışık ve video sistemi bu odadan direkt olarak kontrol edilebilmektedir. Kontrol Odası, 16-kanal W/R MIC’nin yanı sıra ses sistemi için Yamaha Dijital Ses Konsol PM5D de kullanmaktadır. Aydınlatmada olduğu gibi, bir sinüs dalga azaltıcısı, gürültüyü azaltmak için frekans bandı ile sıkıştırılmıştır. Üstelik, diğer orta boy tiyatro salonlarının aksine aydınlatma sistemi bir ağ aracılığı ile kontrol edilmektedir. LIG Sanat Salonu, en karmaşık aydınlatma gereksinimleri içeren gösteriler için bir mekan olarak hizmet vermektedir.



Soyunma Odası

Biri en üst katta diğeri ise birinci katta olmak üzere tiyatro sahnesinin arkasında iki tane soyunma odası bulunmaktadır. İki oda, merdiven aracılığı ile birbirlerine bağlanmaktadır. Her bir oda aynı anda 8 kişiye rahatça hizmet verebilmektedir. Birinci katta müzik aletleri için bir depolama alanı bulunmaktadır.



Lobi

Aydınlatma ve iç tasarımı ile bir sanat galeri sayılan lobi, sakin ve rahat bir atmosfer sunmaktadır.

Facilities



Theatre

The theater is optimally arranged to help the audience truly enjoy the performance on stage. To block outside noise, the theater is equipped with soundproof walls, soundproof doors and a noise-absorbing curtain.

Also, the stage and the floor of auditorium are covered to reduce unwanted noise created within the venue. The theater features a black box stage and a total of 157 fixed seats for the audience 126 seats on the first level and 31 on the upper level.



L Space

L Space is a multi-purpose rehearsal room. 11 x 8 meters in size. It is equipped with a white screen, video projector, audio equipment and wall-to-wall mirror, to not only assist performance rehearsals, but also to help host various events, including seminars and receptions.



Control Room

The Control Room is located on the upper floor, to one side of the auditorium. Sound, lighting and video system can be directly controlled from this room. The Control Room employs a Yamaha Digital Audio Console PM5D for the audio system, as well as 16-channel W/R MIC. As for the lighting, a sine-wave dimmer is in place to prevent noise by compressing the frequency band. Furthermore, the lighting system is controlled via networking, which means, unlike other typical small to medium size theaters, the LIG Art Hall can serve as the venue for more types of performances of even the most complicated lighting requirements.



Dressing Room

There are two dressing rooms behind the up-stage of the theater, one on the first floor and the other on the upper. The two rooms are connected via an internally accessible staircase. Each room can simultaneously serve at least 8 people comfortably. Each room is equipped with a shower booth and bathroom. And there is a storage area for musical instruments on the first floor.



Lobby

Almost an art gallery with its lighting and interior design, the lobby features a calm and relaxed atmosphere.
