1963' te doğmuştur. Almanya'da Kassel Üniversitesi' nde sosyoloji okumuş ve güncel olarak Sungkonghoe Üniversitesi 'nde bir araştırma profesörü olarak çalışmıştır.
1980' de demokratikleşme hareketini, Kore’ nin çağdaş ve modern tarihini, edebi yönüyle eserlere yansıtmıştır.
