Korean Film Museum


Kore Film Arşivi (KOFA), Kore sinemasının kuruluşu ve görsel restorasyonu yoluyla geleceğe yönelik Kore filmlerine öneride bulunacak ve Kuzeydoğu Asya film arşivlerine önderlik edecek Kore Film Arşivi statüsünde, 9.Mayıs.2008’de Kore Film Müzesi’ni açtı.

Arşiv koleksiyonlarından ve korunmuş Kore film örneklerinden Kore sineması hakkında direk sağlanan eğitimsel donanımlı bilgi iletim özelliği sayesinde Kore Film Müzesi, ziyaretçilerine Kore sinema tarihini görsel ve temassal şekilde tecrübe etmelerini, ayrıca Kore sinemasının çeşitliliğini görmelerini sağlıyor.

Kore Film Arşivi, Kore sinemasının kültürel değerlerini öğrenmede ve Arşiv tarafından dikkatlice gösterilen materyaller sayesinde, araştırma faaliyetleri için mükemmel bir mekândır.

Kore Film Müzesi’nde: 1903 ile günümüz arasındaki etkinliklere odaklanıp Kore film tarihini aydınlatan “Kore Sineması’nda Zaman Yolculuğu”, sosyokültürel tarihi aydınlatan “Aktris Biyografisi Serileri”, Scandal filmindeki Bayan Jo’nun Odası’nın (Mrs. Jo’s Room) yeniden çekimi olan “Tarihsel Diziler Bölgesi, Hayal Kurma Bölgesi”, 1930larin temsili tiyatrosu olan Wongoksa’ya dayalı Sessiz Sinema Tiyatrosu’nun (Silent Movie Theater) yeniden çekimi, Film Özerk Bölgesi, Animasyon Alanı gibi çeşitli bölümler hazırlanmıştır.

Kore film endüstrisinde göze çarpmış önemli üyelerin el yazılarının bulunduğu Film Bahçesi ve Kore Film Müzesi hatıra eşyalarının satıldığı Müze Dükkânı gibi yan uygulamaları da vardır.

- Gösterim bitimine en geç 30dk kalana dek.
- Pazartesileri, 1 Ocak günü, Yeni yıl tatillerinde ve Chuseok tatillerinde kapalıdır.
- 10 ve 10+ gruplar, istenilen zamanda tur rezervasyonu yaptırıp tur programı kullanabilir.

Korean Film Museum

The Korean Film Archive opened the Korean Film Museum on May 9, 2008 to offer the future-oriented vision of the Korean cinema through the establishment and visual restoration of the Korean film history and to the status of the Korean Film Archive that will lead the Northeast Asian film archives.

Equipped with the educational function of delivering correct information on the Korean cinema through direct construction from archival collections and preserved examples of Korean films, the Korean Film Museum enables visitors to use their visual and tactile senses to experience the history and diversity of the Korean cinema.

The Korean Film Archive is the perfect venue for learning the cultural values of the Korean cinema and the contents of research activities through carefully displayed materials possessed by the Archive.

There are a variety of prepared spaces in the Korean Film Museum, including “Time Travel of the Korean Cinema” for looking at the Korean film history focusing on the first events between 1903 and the present, “A Series of Actress Biographies” for looking at the socio-cultural history, “Space of Historical Dramas, Space of Imagination” for reproducing Mrs. Jo’s Room in the movie ‘Scandal’, the Silent Movie Theater to be reproduced based on Wongaksa, which was a representative theater in the 1930s, the Film Principle Zone, the Animation Zone, etc.

There are also ancillary facilities including the Film Garden where handprints of prominent members of the Korean film industry are displayed and the Museum Shop where Korean Film Museum souvenirs will be sold.

Viewing Time
- Admission is allowed until 30 minutes before the end of the viewing time.
- The Museum is closed on Monday, January 1, New Year holidays, and Chuseok holidays.
- Groups of 10 or more visitors can use a tour program at a requested time by contacting the group viewing reservation service.
