Konu
Bu film, hayatlarında en önemli ayrımlarına gelen sekiz kişiyi konu alıyor. 30 yaşında tutkulu itfaiyeci, sevgilisi evlenme teklifi etmeye çalışır ama çok çalıştığı için her zaman bu şansı kaçırır. Sevgilisi siren sesini her duyduğunda tedirgin olur. Suk-hyeon işsiz sevgilisi Ha-seok ile ayrılmak niyetindedir, Ha-Seok sevdikleri kişiye ayrılmak istediklerini söyleyemeyenlere yardımcı olmak için bir ajans kurar. Juyeong oğlunun okulda çıkardığı sorunlar yüzünden çok kızgındır, aynı zamanda onunla geçireceği çok az zamanı olduğunu bilmektedir. İşitme bozukluğu ve yüzünde yanık olan Su-eun, ilk kez aşık olmuştur ama aşkının karşısına çıkma cesareti yoktur.

Sad Movie, 21-23 Ekim 2005 haftasonunda 285 sinemada gösterime girmiş ve açılışı 399.823 bilet satışı ile yapmıştır. Toplamda 922.959 bilet satılmış ve 5.628.004.500 won hasılat elde etti.

Plot

This film is about eight individuals facing the most brilliant separations in their lives. The passionate fire fighter, 30 years old, tries to propose to his lover but every time he misses the chance. In the meantime, she becomes anxious whenever she hears a siren. Suk-hyeon intends to break up with her jobless lover, Ha-seok, and he begins an agency that helps other lovers to break up. Juyeong is mad at her son's troubles in school, but she realizes that she has little time to spend with him. Su-eun, with a hearing impairment and a burn on her face, falls in her first love but she doesn't have the courage to come out in his presence.

"Sad Movie" opened #1 at the South Korean box office selling 399,823 tickets on 285 screens during its opening Oct. 21st-23rd, 2005 weekend. All together the movie sold 922,959 tickets and grossed 5,628,004,500 Wons during its domestic theatrical run.
