1991-1992 yılları arasında Kore Cumhuriyeti Yılın İş Adamı unvanını aldı. Kyong Hae Kim, 1987'de Kore İletişim Müdürlüğü'ne başladı. Bir süre sonra Seul'de Reuters Haber Ajansında ekonomi editörlüğü yapmaya başladı. 1983 yılında Kore'de İngilizce iş dergisi yayınlanırken, yapılan bu çalışmada büyük bir payı oldu. 20 yıl bu konuda gazetecilik yaptı.
Üniversite eğitimini Seul'de Sonyang Üniversitesi’nde sürdürmüştür.

As an inaugurator both of the Korean Public Relations Association and the Korea PR Consultancy Association, Kyong Hae Kim is often referred to as the pioneer of the Koreas PR industry or 'Father of Public Relations in Korea'. He served as the president of the Korea Public Relations Association (KPRA) in 1991 ~ 1992 and was awarded The PR Man of the Year in 1994. In addition, Korean Government awarded the president citation to him for his contributions in publicizing governmental policies in 1999.
Kyong Hae Kim founded Communications Korea in 1987. It is the first PR agency in Korea, and he is current CEO of the company. He was previously the Seoul correspondent of Reuters News Agency and the economic editor of the Korea Herald.In 1983, he also founded Koreas first English-language business magazine, Business Korea. He was involved in journalism for more than 20 years, and his extensive background in journalism has played a key role in enabling him to become one of the key figures in the Koreas PR industry.
As a founder and CEO of a PR agency expertised in media publicity, MPR, crisis management, media training and consulting services, he has served a variety of clients including multinational and local companies, Korean and foreign government.
He obtained APR (Accredited in Public Relations) from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and holds a degree in English literature from Sogang University in Seoul.
