Kim Du Han sağ siyasetçidir (1918 – 1972). Kim Jwa Jin adında bir oğlu oldu. 1954'te üçüncü parlamentoya seçildi ve Rhee'nin Liberal Partisi'ne katildi.1965 yılında altıncı parlamentoya seçildi. Bir skandala karıştı ve hapis yattı. Özellikle çete kavgalarıyla bilinir. Kim Du Han'ın yaşamı 1970'lerde dört seriden oluşan filmde dramatize edildi. Bunun yani sira 2002 yılında ''Yain Shidae'' olarak bilinen drama çekildi(Dramının diğer adi Rustic Period). Japon işgali döneminde yaşadıkları Hong Song-yu tarafından kitaplaştırıldı ve yönetmen Im Kwon-taek tarafından film haline getirildi(1990-1992).

Kim Du-han, also spelled Kim Doo Han (1918 – 1972) was a Korean godfather, right-wing politician.He was the son of the famous Korean freedom fighter and anarchist named Kim Jwa-Jin.Involved in violent anti-communist actions in the 1940s and 1950s, he was elected to the third parliament in 1954 and joined Rhee's Liberal Party.He was also elected to the sixth parliament in 1965.Kim was involved in several scandals, and was imprisoned by the US military regime as well as by the military regime of Park Chung-hee.He was especially well known for his performance in gang fights, and was said to be able to fight off several katana-armed yakuzas by himself, in numbers as many as 20 (as depicted in the 2002 drama Yain Shidae).Kim Du-han's life was dramatized in a four-part film series in the 1970s. as well as a 2 part drama in 2002 known as "Yain Shidae" (Korean for Rustic Period).His life during the period of Japanese occupation was novelized by Hong Song-yu, and filmed by director Im Kwon-taek in his General's Son trilogy (1990-1992).He asserted he is son of Kim Jwa-jin, famous Korean independence activist, and many people believe it, but it is still controversial.
