İlk kez Temmuz 2003’te sahnelenmesinden sonra Jump, Kore’de oldukça popüler olmuştur. Ayrıca önemli uluslararası başarıları olmuştur. 2005 ve 2006 yılında Edinburg Fringe Festivali’ne katıldı. Daha sonra bu komedi müzikali, evrensel bir çekiciliğe sahip olduğunu kanıtlamak için Londra West End ve New York Broadway’de biten bir dünya turnesine çıktı.

Gösteri, hırsızlardan evini korumak zorunda olan dövüş sanatları ustası bir ailenin hikayesini anlatır. Taekwondo ve Taekkyeon dahil bir çok Asya dövüş sanatını bir arada kullanılır.

Ancak her gün sarhoş olan amca her yeri berbat ettiğinden onlar da temizlemek için çok çalışmaktadırlar. Her zaman, tam o esnada! Büyükbaba bir misafir getirir.
Kıza ilk görüşte aşık olan bu yumuşak huylu genç adam bir misafir midir?
Bu delikanlı alışılmışın dışındaki bu aile için yeterli olabilecek midir?
Ama bu nazik görünümlü gençte özel bir şey varmış gibi görünmektedir. Onun gerçek kimliği nedir?

Onların her biri sonuna kadar kendi olağanüstü yeteneklerini gözler önüne sermektedirler; ancak bu yaramaz aile, kendilerinin damadı olmak isteyen bu misafirin kolaylıkla paçayı sıyımasına çabucak izin vermeyecektir.

Kız: Savaş sanatlarını güzel bir dansa dönüştürür. Güzel olduğu kadar da tehlikelidir. Tanrıça vücudu, melek gibi gözler. Ama bir kez kızarsa onu hiç kimse durduramaz.

Damat: Entelektüel ve sanat alanında büyük bilgi birikimine sahip bir adam ama iki kişiliği var: Biri titreyen bir korkak ve diğeri Seksi Hulk. O sürekli diğerine dönüşür.

Introduction

Ever since first hit the stage in July 2003, Jump has been incredibly popular in Korea. It also has had remarkable international success. In 2005 and 2006 it took the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and then went on to tour around the world, ending up on London’s West End and New York’s off-Broadway, proving that this musical comedy has universal appeal.

This innovoative show incorporates many of Asia’s martial arts, including Korea's Taekwondo and Taekkyeon, as it tells the story of a family of martial arts specialists who have to defend their house from robbers.

“A VISITOR IS COMING” WHO IS TODAY’S SPECIAL GUEST?

Today is the day that a special guest, is coming to visit a family of martial arts masters. The family members all scurry about cleaning the house from the earlier morning under Grandfather’s pestering. But the uncle who gets drunk every day messes up everything they work so hard to clean. Just then, of all the time! Grandfather brings the guest in.
This mild-mannered young man who falls in love with the daughter at first sight is the guest?
Will this youth be enough for this eccentric family?
But this mild-looking young man seems to have something special to him. What is his real identity?

Just because a guest has come, that dosen’t mean the martial arts family can miss their training time.
Each of them shows off his or her outstanding abilities to the fullest, but this mischievous family isn’t just going to let this guest who wants to become their son in-law get off that easily.

THIEVES HAVE COME INTO THIS ECCENTRIC FAMILY’S HOME…

Who in the World are these bold thieves? Can this terribly unlucky and even somewhat sloppy pair of thieves survive in this house? The poor thieves have picked the wrong house, anything to steal. But it’s too late for regrets. The family members ‘ bodies are already limber form training. Will they just let the thieves go?

CHARACTER

Grandfather: He is a master of all the ancient fighting arts; Tae Kwon Do, Tae Kyun, Karate and Hapkido. His movement is as polished as his dentures.

Father: There’s no matching rival with him except the grandfather.

Mother: She has never met her macth in beauty. To be honest, she has never met anyone who matches her opinions.

Uncle: His hands can break boards. His feet can crush stones. His personality amazes everybody.

Doughter: She tranforms Martial Arts into a beautiful Dance. She is as beautiful as she is dangerous. Eyes like an angel, the body of geddess. But once she gets mad, no one can stop her.

Son-In-Law: An intellectuel, and a guy with great knowledge in the arts, but he has two personalities: one of a trembling coward, and the other of a Sexy Hulk. He constantly flips from one to the other.

Burglar I and II: Clumsy! Wrong house! Wrong time! Wrong job!!!!

Old Man: The mysterious stage manger… the show is impossible without him.
