JR: Biz 1 yıl önce NU'EST adı altında bir araya getirildik.

JR: Ben stajyer olduğumda, Pledis'in başka erkek stajyeri yoktu. Büyüklerimiz in hepsi bayandı; ancak bu kötü bir şey değildi. Ben gerçekten gergindim. JR: Elbette; çünkü bizler de genciz.

JR: Bu şarkı bizim imajımızı tersine çeviren bir şarkı. Balad olmasına rağmen onu Face'in güçlü havasıyla beraber düşünmekte zorlanacağız ve insanların bizim farklı seslerimizi dinlemesine izin verebiliriz.

Soru: Aron ve JR 'NU, Establish, Style, Tempo' için şarkı sözleri yazdı?

JR: İkimiz de rap yapmayı seviyoruz. 'MR' yi dinledik ve ben Korece sözleri yazarken hyung (Aron) da İngilizce sözleri yazdı. Şarkı sözlerini bu şekilde yaptık.

Soru: Sık sık dinlediğin müzik türlerin nelerdir?

Çıkışlarını yapmış After School ve Son Dam Bi gibi kadın sanatçılara sahip olan Pledis şirketi şimdi de rekabetçi ortamı korumak ve aynı zamanda kitlelere etki etmek için erkek çaylak grubu olan NU'EST'i tanıtıyor.

Yurt dışında yaşamaya alışkın olan ve 1993'te doğan Aron; grup için olgun hyung(abi) rolünü alırken JR; Baekho, Ren ve Minhyun gibi aynı senede, 1995'te doğmasına rağmen liderdir. Bu 5 erkek; şarkıları için -tıpkı sunbaeleri(büyükleri) gibi- özel malzemeler içeren güçlü performansları olan, grubun ilk izlenimiyle diğer şarkıcıların şaşırıp kalmasına neden olan NU'EST grubunu oluşturmaktadır. JR: Şu anda bütün Avrupa'da moda olan dubstep tarzını kullanarak; baş şarkımız olan Face ile çıkış yaptık ve kendimizi farklılaştırmaya çalıştık. Eğer giriş şarkımızı dinlerseniz bununla ilgili daha iyi bir anlayışa sahip olacaksınız. Bu şarkı sadece dubstepten oluşmaktadır. Özellikle Aron ve ben kişisel olarak şarkı sözlerinin yazımına şahsen katıldık, bu yüzden bana göre o NU'EST'in yeteneklerini gösterecek gibi gözüküyor.

Güvenle yeni silahlarını sunan NU'EST baş şarkıları olan Face'i hiç pişmanlık duymaksızın tanıttılar. JR: We united under the name "NU’EST" an year ago.

JR: when I became trainee, Pledis did not have any other male trainee. Our seniors were all female, but that was not bad. I was really nervous. When other members joined the company, I thought that all of them were really handsome. Also they were same age as me so we became friends easily.

JR: Only Aron hyung is one year older than us, but regardless of age, we are very close to each other.

Interview 1

Q: What are the things that changed the most when you made debut?

JR: However, Fans’ responses had totally changed. Before, people saw us because we’re on same stage with After School Sunbaes, but now we have our own stage. (V.G. You’ve received a lot of support from fans even before debut right?) We were very surprised because (the fans) shouts our names in the intervals of the song, There was even a time when I almost forgot the choreography!

Q: You’re in midst of promoting your debut song ‘Face’. The lyrics are about the violence at school, do you agree with the lyric?

JR: Of course, because we are teenagers too.

Q: I heard that you also applied the message of the lyrics through your choreography. You must have practiced the ‘Chair performance’ a lot.

JR: But as long as we get the point of the dance right, the rest can be helped personally so we don’t have to worry. Because each of us has different personalities, so, when dancing each of the members has a little bit different vibe.

Q: The follow-up song from the single album, ‘I’m Sorry’’s atmosphere (with face) is totally different?

JR: It’s a song that made our image reversed. Although it’s a ballad song, we’ll make it hard to imagine with ‘Face’s strong vibe and we can let people listen to our different voices.

Q: Aron and JR wrote the lyrics for ‘NU, Establish, Style, Tempo’?

JR: Both of us likes rapping. We listen to the ‘MR’ and Hyung (Aron) wrote the English lyrics while I wrote with Hangeul. That’s how we made the lyrics.

Q: What kind of genre of music that you often listen?

JR: Because I like dancing, I mostly listen to up-beat songs. Sometimes, I connect the iPod(s) and play the music loudly. If a nice music played, I will ask about that song. And our vocal trainer doesn’t only give us one song to listen to but he also let listen to the other song(s) of the singer(s). And then, the vocal trainer will ask us to practice the song.

Interview 2

Having already debuted such female artists as After School and Son Dam Bi, Pledis has now introduced the rookie male group NU’EST to secure a competitive position and appeal to the masses at the same time.

Accustomed to a life overseas and born in 1993 is Aron, while taking on the mature role of hyung for the group is leader JR, despite being born in 1995, the same year as fellow members Baekho, Ren andMinhyun. These five boys make up NU’EST, whose powerful performances, like their sunbaes, include special material for their songs and intense dances that alone cause their fellow singers to be taken aback upon their first impression of the group. WStarNews recently had an interview with the group. Check it out below!

JR: Using the dubstep genre, which is trending all over Europe now, we came up with our title song ‘Face,’ and we sought to differentiate ourselves. If you listen to our intro song, you will gain a better understanding of it. The song is composed only of dubstep. In particular, Aron and I personally participated in writing the lyrics for the song, so I think it seems to show NU’EST’s abilities.

Confidently presenting their new weapon, NU’EST introduced their title song ‘Face‘ without any regrets. The song was originally supposed to deal with the love between a man and a woman, but in order to make them even more special, the company decided to modify the content to talk about social problems in the classroom, thereby giving birth to this new concept of ‘the teenage representatives NU’EST.’

Previously, B.A.P handled somewhat unconventional content with their songs ‘Warrior‘ and ‘Never Give Up,’ but NU’EST takes sides and throws punches in their choreography, while singing, ”You always find out it hurts after it shatters, that’s why you’re only at that spot.” If you were to watch them, you would be reminded of a past image of Shinhwa in their song ‘Yo.’

JR: We look to sensitize all teenagers to the violence in schools, and I’ve come to see incidents like this up close and personal and I always hope the problems will disappear.

Still rookies in the industry, NU’EST gives off this raw, unfamiliar charm. They sighed, “Before our debut, with the only exception being sleeping, our time was spent practicing continuously, so we want to show as much of our skills as we can.”

Q: Excluding your sunbaes of the same agency, who is your favorite singer?

JR: The members all like TVXQ and Big Bang. As for individually, I like Eminem. At first, no one appreciated him, but he put in a lot of effort and later, he achieved recognition from white people, black people, everyone and became the best singer. I also want to try to become the best musician recognized by everyone.

Q: Up until now, your happiest day has been?

JR: When I’m dancing on the stage.
