Joseon Halk Sanatları Müzesi, 29 Temmuz Yeongwol Dong River Raft Festivali kutlaması sonrasında 2000 yılında açıldı.
Tesisin ana sergi birimi 165 ㎡, Yönetim ofisi 66 ㎡, Hediyelik eşya mağazası ve turistik salon içermektedir. Sergiler Eohaedo, Hwajodo ve yaklaşık 80 halk tabloları içinde saksağan, kaplan şekilleri ve bir çok halkın duygularından oluşan resimler vardır. Çevrede, geleneksel yapılar 1000 pot bitki ile bir pot bitki bahçesi ve Joseon Hanedanlığı'nın ahşap eşyaları bulunmaktadır.
Bu müzenin amacı Joseon Hanedanlığından kalan tablo, eşyalarını toplamak, korumak ve bunları sergilemektir. Ayrıca Kore'nin geleneksel halk resimleri halkın yaptığı resimlerde sergilenmektedir.
Bu özel tesis Suk Hwan Oh tarafından yönetilmektedir.
Öğrenciler ve ziyaretçiler deneyim için burada kendileride halk resimleri çizebilir.

Joseon Folk Painting Museum
Location: Waseok-ri Hadong-myeon Yeongwol-gun
Joseon Folk Painting Museum opened on July 29, 2000 in celebration of Yeongwol Dong River Raft Festival.
This museum is sitting on a 1.2ha property at San 87-2 Waseok-ri Hadong-myeon Yeongwol-gun. The facility includes a main exhibition unit, a 165㎡ administration office, and a 66㎡ souvenir shop and a tourist lounge.
Exhibitions include Eohaedo, Hwajodo, and about 80 folk paintings featuring magpies, tigers, and the many emotions of humble commoners. In the surroundings, there are traditional buildings, a pot-plant garden with about 1,000 pot plants, and Joseon Dynasty’s woodenware.
The purpose of this museum is to collect, preserve, and exhibit folk paintings from the Joseon Dynasty. It also shows the value of Korea’s traditional folk paintings to the general public as well as the folk painting collectors.
This is a private facility managed by Suk Hwan Oh.
Students and visitors can also experience drawing folk paintings themselves here..
