Park Jin-young (Korean: 박진영, born January 13, 1972) also known as J.Y. Park (or simply JYP) is a singer, songwriter, record producer and the current CEO/founder of JYP Entertainment, a major artist management/record label of Asian pop music. Over the past 11 years. Park has become a prominent producer, composer, and artist, becoming the only Asian producer to cross over into the US market. He has since also started his own management company, JYP Entertainment.

Park Jin-young married his wife, Yoon Jeong-seo, in 1999. It was announced in March 2009 that the couple would be divorcing after 10 years of marriage. On the official JYP website, Park noted that although they have been together for 16 years, they grew apart and eventually decided to go their separate ways.
