Jin Soo Choi (Korece: 최진수; 11 Mayıs 1989 doğumlu) Maryland Üniversitesi, Park Koleji ve Kore milli basketbol takımında oynamış Güney Koreli bir basketbol oyuncusudur.
Genellikle kısa forvet, ileri şutör gard ve pivot konumlarında oynamaktadır. ABD'de kısa forvet oynamış, Kore milli basketbol takımında ise uzun forvette oynamıştır. 2004 yılında lise birinci sınıf öğrencisi olarak Amerika Birleşik Devletleri'ne gitmiştir. Montclair Prep'de amatör olarak çalışmaya başlamış, forvet için hazırlık yapmıştır. İkinci yılında South Kent'e forvet oyuncusu olarak transfer olmuş ve 3 yıl South Kent'te forvet oyuncusu olarak oynamaya başlamıştır. 2008 yılında South Kent'ten bir çok derece ile ayrılmış, Maryland Üniversitesi ve Park Koleji'nde 1.senesine başlamıştır. Choi ilk oyununda Northwood Üniversitesi'ne karşı 20 sayı atmıştır. Bu oyunun sonuna kadar Choi adı tezahüratlanmış ve Maryland öğrencilerinin favorisi olmuştur. 2009 da sezonun kapalı olduğu dönemde Choi Kim soy adını Choi olarak değiştirmiş ve üvey babasını, kabul gördüğünü göstermiştir. Choi'nin biyolojik babası olan Kim Yoo-Taek (김유택) iyi bilinen Güney Koreli bir basketbol oyuncusu ve Kore milli basketbol takımının eski teknik direktörüdür. Choi 5 Ocak 2010 tarihinde Maryland Üniversitesi'nden ayrıldığını açıklamıştır. 2011 KBL Kore Basketbol Ligi için Orions basketbol kulübünde 3.kez hazırlık yapmıştır.

Choi Jin-Soo (Korean: 최진수; born 11 May 1989) is a South Korean basketball player who played for University of Maryland, College Park and the Korea national basketball team. He is the first South Korean to receive a full NCAA Division I basketball scholarship.
He is listed as a small forward but he is able to play shooting guard, power forward, and center. Usually, he plays small forward in the United States, and power forward when he plays for the Korea national basketball team. He came to the United States as a high school freshman in 2004. As a freshman, he was a starting forward for Montclair Prep. He transferred to South Kent for his sophomore year. At South Kent, he played for three years as a Forward. He graduated from South Kent in 2008, and became a freshman at the University of Maryland, College Park. In Choi's first game, he scored 20 points in an exhibition vs. Northwood University. Choi immediately became a fan favorite of the Maryland students, as they were cheering his name by the end of the game. During the 2009 offseason, Choi changed his name from Kim to Choi. He did this to acknowledge his stepfather. Choi's biological father Kim Yoo-Taek (김유택) was a well-known South Korean basketball player and former Korea national basketball team coach. On January 5, 2010, it was announced that Choi was leaving the University of Maryland. . Choi was drafted 3rd in the 2011 KBL Korean Basketball League draft to the Orions basketball club.
