Hanseo University accomplished amazing developments in a short period of time based on confidence of becoming a leader of the age of the west coast and specialized education. Now, it aims to rise to another level with a new vision, ‘Leaders of the global age.’

Raising flags of specialization and globalization, we are doing our best to educate with the latest knowledge demanded by the world today while simultaneously training whole individuals who can contribute to the establishment of a beautiful social community.

Tarihi

Hanseo Üniversitesi dünya çapında, İhtisas Eğitim Havacılık Programlar ve batı sahil bölgesindeki Küresel Sanat Kampüsü'nde, 77 üniversite ile işbirliği içinde yeni bir dönem açtı.
Kore'ye nispeten Hanseo Üniversitesi, yeni akademik çevrelerce çaba içinde, yaratıcılık, güven ve katkı ile 1992 yılında kurulmuştur. Mt. Gaya yamacında huzurlu bir yerde olan, Chungnam Eyaleti, Seosan Şehrine bitişik, Hanseo Üniversitesi, 8500 öğrenci, 250 tam zamanlı öğretim üyeleri tarafından açılarak 50 bölümün birinde hedeflerine sürdürmeye yardımcı akademik bir topluluktur. Başından beri küreselleşmenin artan önemiyle uyum içinde, yenilikçi üniversite, özel eğitim olanakları sunmaya odaklanmıştır. En kaliteli tesisleri ve cana yakın akademik ortamı sayesinde, en iyi öğretme ve öğrenme kaynakları sunmak için Hanseo Üniversitesi'nin fedakar çabaları Korean Council for University Education (Kore Üniversitesi için Eğitimi Konseyi) tarafından kabul edilmiştir. Üniversitenin genel ulusal kalkınma planına önemi, göz önünde bulunarak Kore Batı Kıyısında, stratejik bir konuma sahiptir. Batı Kıyısı Otoyolu, gelişmiş okul ve halk otobüsü ile Seoul, Incheon ve Honam bölgelerinden gelen öğrenciler için kolay erişim sağlar. Hanseo Üniversitesi, benzersizliğini vurgulayan havacılık ve sanat 2A programı bulunmaktadır. Yeni inşa edilmiş olan Taean Havaalanı ve Uçuş Eğitim Merkezi, Kore'de havacılık uzmanlık eğitimi sağlayan türünün ilk tesisidir. Buna ek olarak, endüstriyel ürün tasarımı becerilerini geliştirmek için Ürün Yüzey Tasarımı ve İnovasyon Merkezi ile öğrencilerine sanat programı fırsatları sunmaktadır.

1989
- Hamjoo Hakwon ve Eğitim Vakfı'nın kurulması Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı tarafından kabul edildi.
1990
İnşaat kampüsü açıldı.
1991
- Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı 1992 akademik yılı için 400 öğrenci kabulünü onayladı.
1992
- 4 bölüm daha açıldı.
1993
- 14 departmanda 560 yeni öğrenci için giriş töreni yapıldı.
1994
- 5 bölüm daha açıldı (Uluslararası İlişkiler, Rehabilitasyon Terapi, Malzeme bilimi Mühendisliği, Gıda ve Biyoteknoloji ve İç Tasarım) ve Akşam Sınıfları (Japonca, Çince, Bilgisayar Bilimi, Çevre Bilimi) 350 öğrenci kontenjanı ile kuruldu.
- Dr Sok-Woo Lee, ikinci başkan olarak göreve başladı.
1995
- Eğitim Enstitüsü kuruldu.
- 7 bölüm daha açıldı. (Yaratıcı Yazarlık, Gazetecilik ve İletişim, Mimari Mühendisliği, Makine Mühendisliği, Endüstriyel Tasarım, Teknolojik Görsel Sanat, Atletizm ve Kişisel Güvenlik) ve Akşam Sınıflarına (İngiliz Dili ve Edebiyatı, Kamu Yönetimi, Uluslararası Ticaret) 370 öğrenci dahilinde bir kontenjan kuruldu.
- Bilgi Enstitüsü ve Sanayi Enstitüsü kuruldu.
1996
- 33 bölümde 1308 yeni öğrenci için giriş töreni düzenlendi. Dr Ki-Joo Kim üçüncü başkan olarak göreve başladı.
- İlk mezuniyet töreni yapıldı. 207 mezun öğrenci ile Bachelors Dereceleri takdim edildi.
1997
- 6 bölüm daha açıldı. (Ergenlik Araştırmaları, İnşaat Mühendisliği, Bilgisayar İletişim, Sinema ve Televizyon, Kültür Koruma Yönetmenlik ve Hemşirelik) 210 öğrenci kontenjanı ile kuruldu.
- Sanat Enstitüsü kuruldu.
1998
- Medikal ultrason Bölümü 40 öğrenci kontenjanı ile kuruldu.
- 41 bölümde 1612 yeni öğrenci için yedinci giriş töreni yapıldı.
- Dr Ki Joo Kim dördüncü başkan olarak tekrar atandı.
1999
- Mesleki Terapi Bölümü 25 öğrenci kontenjanı ile kuruldu.
- Doktora Enstitüsü programı kuruldu.
- Çocuk Sanat Eğitimi Araştırmaları Bölümü 30 öğrenci kontenjanı ile kuruldu. 20 öğrenci ek kontenjan Multimedya Müzik Bölümü'ne atandı.
- 42 bölümde 1650 yeni öğrenci için sekizinci giriş töreni yapıldı.
- Dördüncü mezuniyet töreni yapıldı. 536 öğrenci üzerinde görüşülen Bachelors Dereceleri ve 32 öğrenci için Ustalık Dereceleri tevcih edildi.

History
Specialized Education Programs in Aeronautics and Arts at a Global Campus of the west coast Area : Hanseo University opens up a new era in partnership with 77 universities worldwide.
Relatively new in the Korean academic circle, Hanseo University was founded in 1992 to strive for creativity, confidence and
contribution. Located on the peaceful hillside of Mt. Gaya, adjacent to Seosan City in Chungnam Province, Hanseo University is an
academic community where 8,500 students pursue their academic goals in one of its 50 departments that are staffed by 250 full-time faculty members. From the outset, in tune with the growing importance of globalization, the University has focused on offering innovative, specialized educational opportunities.
Thanks to its top quality facilities and congenial academic environment, Hanseo University's devoted efforts to deliver the finest
teaching and learning resources have been acknowledged by the Korean Council for University Education. The University is
strategically located on the West Coast of the Korean peninsular, which is in the limelight because of its importance in the overall national
development plan. The West Coast Expressway and well-developed school and public bus transportation provide easy access for
students from Seoul, Incheon and Honam areas.
What highlights Hanseo University uniqueness is its 2A program of aeronautics and arts. The newly constructed Taean Airfield and
Flight Education Center, the first facility of its kind in Korea, go far in providing specialized training in aeronautics. In addition, the
Product Surface Design Innovation Center provides Art program students opportunities to develop their skills in industrial and product
designing.
1989
-The establishment of the Educational Foundation of Hamjoo Hakwon was approved by the Ministry of Education.(Founder, Dr. Kee-Sun Ham)
1990
-Construction began on the campus.(The foundation Day)
1991
-The Ministry of Education approved the admission of 400 students for the '1992 academic year.
1992
-4 more departments (Environmental Engineering, Biology, Japanese, Aging Welfare)
-Dr. Jong-Kyu Ham was inaugurated as first President. The first entrance ceremony was held.
1993
-Entrance ceremony for 560 new students in 14 departments was held.
1994
-5 more departments(International Relations,
Rehabilitation Therapy, Materials science Engineering,
Food and Biotechnology, and Interior Design) and Evening Classes(Japanese, Chinese, Computer Science, Environmental Science) were established with a quota of 350 students.
-Dr. Sok-Woo Lee was inaugurated as the second President.
1995
-The Graduate School of education was established.
-Seven more departments(Creative Writing, Journalism and Communication, Architectural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Technological Visual Art and Athletics and Personal Security) and Evening Classes(English Language and Literature,Public Adminstration, International Trade) were established with a quota of 370 students.
-The Graduate School and the Graduate School of Information and Industry were established.
1996
-Entrance Ceremony for 1308 new students in 33
departments was held. Dr. Ki-Joo Kim was inaugurated
as the third President.
-The first graduation ceremony was held. Bachelors'
Degrees was conferred on 207 graduating students.
1997
-Six departments(Adolescent Studies, Civil Engineering, Computer Communication, Directing for Film and Television, Conservation for Culture, and Nursing) were established with a quota of 210 students.
-The Graduate School of Arts was established.
1998
-The Department of Medical Ultrasonics was established with a quota of 40 students.
-The seventh entrance ceremony for 1612 new students in 41 departments was held.
Dr. Ki Joo Kim was reappointed as the fourth President.
1999
-Department of Occupational Therapy was established with a quota of 25 students.
-Doctoral degree program was established in the Graduate School.
-The Department of Children's Art Education Studies was established with a quota of 30 students. An additional quota of 20 students was assigned to the Department of Multimedia Music.
-The eighth entrance ceremony, for 1650 new students in 42 departments, was held.
-The fourth graduation ceremony was held. Bachelors' Degrees were conferred on 536 students and Masters' Degrees were conferred on 32 students.
