Haegang Seramik Müzesi ((해강도자미술관), Kore'nin seramiklere adanmış ilk müzesi. Müze, seramik zanaatı işçiliğini, geleneksel Kore sanatının esansını -meşhur celoadon porseleni yanısıra punch’ong seramik takımı ve beyaz porselen dahil olmak üzere- sergiler. Doğu ve Batı mimarisinin temel iskeletleri arasındaki uyumu işleyen ana bina, hem içini, hemde kendisini görmek için birşeyler sunuyor. Müze, 1990 yılının bahar aylarında, Yu Geun-hyeong (takma ismi Haegang) ve oğlu Yu Gwang-Yeol (takma ismi Haegang) tarafından kuruldu. Bu, miras kalmış Kore'nin seramik kültürü geleneklerini geliştirip büyütüyor ve daha da ileriye taşımak için çaba harcıyor.Müze, geleneksel seramik sergilenmesi ve korunması için ek olarak çeşitli akademik faaliyetler yapıyor ve ilgili malzemeleri yayınlıyor.Bu, Kore'nin genç kesimi ile halkı seramikler hakkında eğitip bilgilendirerek, kültürün korunmasına ve gelişmesine katkıda bulunuyor.

Although the museum is currently undergoing some renovations, only the Ceramics Culture Room is closed. The Haegang Commemoration Hall, Souvenir Shop, and the Research Institute are open to the public and are free of admission.

The Haegang Ceramics Museum (해강도자미술관) is Korea’s first museum dedicated to ceramics. It displays ceramic crafted works, the very essence of Korean traditional art, including the celebrated celadon porcelain, as well as punch’ong ware, and white porcelain. The main building, which strikes harmony between the basic frameworks of Eastern and Western architecture, offers something to see in and of itself. The museum was founded by the late Yu Geun-hyeong (pen name Haegang) and his son Yu Gwang-yeol (pen name Haegang) in the spring of 1990; it fosters the inherited traditions of Korea’s ceramics culture and strives to develop it further. In addition to exhibiting and preserving traditional ceramics, the museum is engaged in various academic activities and publishes relevant materials. It is contributing to cultural preservation and development by educating Korea’s youth and public about ceramics.

Directions
Buses from Seoul (Dong Seoul) to Icheon run every 15 to 20 minutes from 06:20 to 22:40; it takes around one hour.

Take an intracity bus to Sugwang-ri from the Icheon Terminal or seat bus 114, get off at Sugwang-ri (수광리) and walk for three minutes.
