Gwangju Bienali 1995 yılından beri her iki yılda bir düzenlenen uluslararası bir sanat fuarıdır üç aylık bir süre içinde Bienali Salonu (Sanat Gwangju Müzesi) ve Gwangju Halk Müzesinde yer alır. Gwangju Bienali Hall, ana mekan Gwangju Bienali, beş sergi salonu, açık hava sergileme salonu bir belgesel merkezi, planlı bir sergi salonu ve bir seminer salonundan oluşmaktadır.
uluslararası modern sanat ana sergilerin yani sıra, dünyanın her yerinden parçalar onlarca diğer özel temalı sergiler vardır. Ana festival süresince, Gwangju Bienali Hall halk gösterileri, danslar, müzik, tiyatro, yurtdışından misafirler tarafından özel gösteriler de dahil olmak üzere çeşitli etkinlikler ile canlanır.

Introduction
The Gwangju Biennale, an international art fair held every two years since 1995, takes place in the Biennale Hall (Gwangju Museum of Art) and the Gwangju Folk Museum over a period of three months. The Gwangju Biennale Hall, the main venue of the Gwangju Biennale, consists of five exhibition halls, an open-run showroom, a documentary center, a planned exhibition hall, and a seminar room.In addition to the main exhibitions of international modern art, there are other special themed exhibits featuring dozens of pieces from all over the world. Throughout the main festival period, Gwangju Biennale Hall comes alive with a variety of celebrative events including folk performances, dances, music, theater, and special performances by overseas guests.
