Gwan-gajeong House / 관가정



Gwan-gajeong evi Cheongbaekri (temiz bir memur) olarak bilinen saygın bir devlet memuru olan Son Jung-don tarafından Kral Jungjong'un döneminde (1506-44) Joseon Hanedanlığı zamanında inşa edildi.
Yeniden dekorasyona uğramamıştır çünkü bu unutulmaz ev Joseon Hanedanlığı'nın az kalan evlerinden biridir.

Evin adı dış taraftaki ‘’numaru’’ uzantısı bulunan tabeladan geliyor. Evin son derece basit bir planı vardır ama iyi çevresi ve akıllı eksen kullanımı ile çevrelenmiştir. Evin mimarisinde diğer elementlerin ve hatta dış görünümlerin çok eksenleri vardır.

Gwan-gajeong house was built in the mid-Joseon Dynasty during the reign of
King Jungjong (1506-44) by Son Jung-don, a respected government official known as a Cheongbaekri (a clean-handed official). The house is notable because it is one of the few surviving houses from the mid-Joseon Dynasty that has not undergone extensive remodeling. The name of the house comes from the plaque located in the 'numaru' extension of the outer quarters.

The house has an extremely simple plan but is well-integrated with its surroundings through the clever use of axis. There are many axes in the house where architectural elements frame other elements or even views of the outdoors.
