İnsanların gizliliklerini korumak için binlerce yıldır çeşitli maskeler yapmaktayız. Başlangıçta talihsiz olayları gizlemek ve çeşitli rolleri canlandırmak için yapılıyordu. Gosung Maske Müzesi maskeli piyeslerde kullanılan çeşitli maskeler ve eski zamanda kullanılmış maskeleri sergilemektedir. Bir miras olarak düşünülen maskeler, maskelerin anlamlarını ziyaretçilere anlatmaktadır ve yeni yapılacak olan maskeler için ilham kaynağıdır. Çeşitli bölgelerde bir deneyim ve eğitim alanı olarakta düşünülmektedir. Gençler ve yaşlılar için, Bay Yeal Lee tarafından bağışlanan 377 maskeler, özel maske müzesinde ve Goseong tarafından verilen 100 yabancı maske ile Galcon adı verildi.

Human beings have been making various masks since thousands years Though cloak is acknowledged as mask at present, originally it included everything made by human beings to play various roles in the life of our ancestors for preventing misfortune from happening. Gosung Mask museum exhibits various masks used in masque nationwide and provides the chance to see the trace of effort to prevent from misfortune. Visitors can realize newly through the meaning of mask and it’s shape made from the necessity of

existence and belief instead of a play that it is necessary for them not to consider masks as an heritage only. It is being operated as a experimental and educational space for regional residences, artists and youths with 377 masks donated by Mr Do Yeal Lee, pen name Galchon, who had managed a private mask museum, and 100 foreign masks provided by Goseong.
