Go Pyeong-o evinin bir kısmı aslında yerel yetkililer için lojman olarak kullanılmıştır. Evin genel düzeni olan ayrı ama ilişkili aileler bağımsız evin farklı kanatlarını yaşamış Jeju Adası'nın üzerinde tipik ortak bir avlu paylaşıyor.

A portion of the Go Pyeong-o House was originally used as lodging for local officials. The overall layout of the house is typical of those on Jeju Island, in which separate but related families lived independently in different wings of the house, sharing a common courtyard.
