General Information About VIXX / VIXX Genel Tanıtım

Brian Joo, Lee Seok Hoon, Park Hyo Shin, Seo In-guk ve Sung Shi Kyung'un şirketi olan Jellyfish Entertainment bir erkek grubu kuracağını açıkladı. Daha sonra idol adayı olan 10 üye Mnet'te yayınlanan Mydol programında tanıtıldı. Bu 10 üyenin yarışması istendi. Sadece altısının seçileceği kıyasıya bir yarışma. Yarışma sonunda 6 üye seçildi. Bu üyeler N, Leo, Ken, Ravi, Hong Bin ve Hyuk oldu. Grubun adına da sonradan karar verildi. Grubun adının "VIXX (빅스 / Biksı)" olmasına karar verildi.
Üyelerden N, Leo, Ravi ve HongBin Brian Joo'ya Let This Die şarkısında N, Leo ve Ravi Seo In-guk'a Shake It Up şarkısında eşlik ederken Hongbin Seo In-guk'un Tease Me klibinde rol aldı.
Ardından grubun ilk çıkışını "Super Hero" ile 24 Mayıs 2012'de yayınlanan M! Countdown ile yaptı. 14 Ağustos 2012'de ise ikinci mini albümleri "Rock Ur Body" yayınlandı. Jellyfish Entertainment bünyesindeki diğer şarkıcılarla birlikte "The Heart Project" 크리스마스니까 (Because It's Christmas) dijital teklisinde yer aldılar.
6 Ocak 2013'te 3. teklileri 'Don’t want to be an Idol'ü yayınladılar. Ardından 17 Ocak 2013'te 3. mini albümleri "I'm Ready To Get Hurt.." yayınlandı. Lider N 'The Romantic & Idol' isimli şovda yer alıyor.
VIXX fanlarının resmi adı albüm yayınlanmadan birkaç gün önce açıklandı. Evet VIXX severler sizin adınız "ST☆RLIGHT".

VIXX (Korean: 빅스) is a six member South Korean boy band, signed under Jellyfish Entertainment. All members were on Mnet's reality program, Mydol.
Before debuting, the VIXX members were 6 of 10 contestants featured in the Mnet's reality show Myidol. Members N, Leo, Ravi and HongBin were featured in Brian Joo Let This Die N, Leo and Ravi were also featured in Seo In-guk Shake It Up and Hongbin was featured in Seo In-guk's Tease Me.
VIXX debuted with "Super Hero" on May 24th, 2012 on M! Countdown. Their first overseas performance was at the Otakon Convention in Baltimore, Maryland on July 27, 2012. On August 14, 2012 VIXX released "Rock Ur Body". The group also preformed at KCON 2012 on October 13th. VIXX was also part of Jelly Fish Winter Project, Heart Project with artists Lee Seok Hoon, Park Hyo Shin, Seo In-guk and Sung Shi Kyung. The Heart Project was designed to be a special gift to the fans. On December 5th, 2012 the title track of the Heart project, 크리스마스니까 (Because It's Christmas) was released digitally.
On January 3rd, Leader N tweeted "I don’t want to be an idol….." & "I have to worry about cameras, managers;;; I can’t even date… It has to turn out well.. Ahㅜ I’m tired…" leaving fans confused and caused some fans to wonder if his tweets were just for marketing for the reality show, 'The Romantic & Idol' which he is currently cast in as one of the members. On January 6th, VIXX pre-releases their 3rd single 'Don’t want to be an Idol' which caused fans to understand Leader N's tweets that he posted earlier that week. It was also revealed that VIXX's third Mini Album "I'm Ready To Get Hurt.." is to be released on January 17, 2013. Teasers were released on January 9th, 2013. Prior to the week, VIXX announces their official fan club name, ST☆RLIGHT.
