Kariyer

2011: Çıkış Öncesi

2012: İlk çıkış ve Temmuz Comeback'i

16 Ocak 2012 tarihinde Pledis Entertainment, NU'EST'in lideri, JR'nin yüzünü göstermiştir.
Bir sonraki gün, Minhyun ve Aron'un yüzlerini ortaya çıkarılmıştır.
19 Ocak 2012 günü, NU'EST'in son üyeleri; Baekho ve Ren tanıtıldı.
Ayrıca Baekho'nun sahne adını After School'dan UEE'nin verdiği ortaya çıkmıştır.
2 Mart 2012 günü, bir NU'EST Otobüsü Seoul sokaklarında, grubun ilk resmi çıkışı ve merakla beklenen single'ı olan "FACE"in reklamını yaparken fark edilmiştir.
Bir hafta sonra ise "FACE"in resmi müzik videosu yayınlanmıştır.
Daha sonra bu ilk single'ın, İsveçli söz yazarı Daniel Bergman tarafından bestelendiği ortaya çıkmıştır.
NU'EST grubu ilk çıkış yayınlarını 15 Mart 2012'de Mnet, M! Countdown 'de, "I'm Sorry" ve "Face" ile yaptı.
19 Mart 2012 tarihinde, NU'EST'in reality show için oynayacağı ortaya çıktı: "Making of a Star: NU'EST, Landing Operation".
Bu programda grubun, Güney Kore'nin çeşitli bölgelerini ziyaret ederek, hayranlarının kalbini fethetmesi amaçlanmıştır.

NU'EST (New Established Style and Tempo) (Hangul: 뉴이스트) is a South Korean boy group formed by Pledis Entertainment in 2012. They are also Pledis Entertainment's first male band, consisting of JR, Aron, Minhyun, Baekho and Ren. Their musical style is described as 'urban electro'.

2011: Pre-Debut

Before making their official debut, All members were backup dancers for AS Blue's "Wonder Boy" music video. They also participated in the live stages. JR was featured in After School's Uee's debut song "Sok Sok Sok". He was later dubbed as "Bangkok Boy" after appearing in Orange Caramel's "Bangkok City", while Minhyun starred in the music video of "Shanghai Romance". Baekho appeared in After School's follow-up single music video "Play Ur Love".
NU'EST was also featured on "Love Letter", a holiday single with labelmates Son Dambi and After School. The artists later appeared on various stages to promote the single.
The group made their second major unofficial appearance on December 29, 2011, by performing a shuffle dance with After School at the 2011 SBS Gayo Daejun.

2012: Debut and July Comeback

On January 16, 2012, Pledis Entertainment revealed the face of NU'EST's leader, JR. On the following day, the faces of Minhyun and Aron were revealed. On January 19, 2012, they introduced the final members of NU'EST, Baekho and Ren. It was also revealed that After School's Uee gave Baekho his stage name.
On March 2, 2012, a NU'EST Bus was spotted driving around the streets of Seoul, advertising the group's official debut and the title of their highly anticipated single, "FACE". A little bit over a week later, the official music video for "Face" was released. It was later revealed that their debut single was composed by Swedish songwriter Daniel Bergman. NU'EST made their broadcast debut on Mnet's M! Countdown on March 15, 2012, with a double stage of "I'm Sorry" and "Face".
On March 19, 2012, it was revealed that NU'EST would be starring in their own reality show, "Making of a Star: NU'EST, Landing Operation". On this reality program, the group aims capture the hearts of their fans by visiting various parts of South Korea.
On June 27th Pledis Entertainment revealed NU'EST were to make their comeback mid-July. On July 1st NU'EST revealed they were to make their comeback with a Mini album titled 'Action' to be released on July 11th.
