2014 yılında JYP Entertainment tarafından oluşturulan bir hip hop grubudur. Daha önce ikisi 2012 yılındaki JJ Project ile çıkış yapmış olan 7 üyeden oluşur. Şuanki üyeleri JB, Mark, Jr., Jackson, Youngjae, Bambam ve Yugyeom’dır.
16 Ocak 2014’de Mnet’in M! Countdown programında “Girls Girls Girls” adlı çıkış şarkılarıyla ilk performanslarını sergilediler.

General Information About GOT7

Got7 is a hip hop boy group based in South Korea. Formed by JYP Entertainment in 2014, Got7 comprises seven members, two of which originally debuted as the pop duo JJ Project in 2012. Their current lineup is JB, Mark, Jr., Jackson, Youngjae, BamBam, and Yugyeom.
On January 16, 2014, Got7 made their official debut on Mnet's M! Countdown, performing their debut single "Girls Girls Girls."

Geçmişten Bugüne GOT7

Çıkış Öncesi
5Live ile birlikte, Got7 Mnet’in 6 Eylül 2013’de yayınlanan reality-survival programı “Who Is Next: WIN” de ilk kez çıkış öncesi göründü. Got7’ın dört üyesi YG Entertainment’ın çaylakları Takım A (Winner) ve Takım B ile yarıştı.

Kuruluş
Bir sonraki 2PM adıyla JYP Entertainment ilk kez 24 Aralık 2013’de 7 kişilik bir gruba çıkış yaptıracağını duyurdu. JJ Project’den 2 üyenin bu grubun üyesi olduğunu açıkladı. Got7, JYP Entertainment’ın ilk hip hop grubu ve dövüş sanatları içeren performans grubudur. Performans takımı olmaları akla 2PM’i getirse de şirket grubun martial arts’dan türemiş tekme ve dönme hareketleri içeren, b-boying’le birleşmiş bir performans sergileyeceğini açıkladı. 1 Ocak’ta JYP Entertainment grubun adının Got7 olacağını, müzik videosunun ve showcase’leri olan Garage Showcase’in 15 Ocak’ta yayınlanacağını duyurdu. İlk sahneleri 16 Ocak’ta M!Countdown’da olacaktı ve ilk mini albümlerini 20 Ocak’ta yayınlayacaklardı. Mark ve JB’nin ilk teaserları 3 Ocak’ta yayınlandı. 6 Ocak’ta Jackson ve Yugyeom’un ardından 8 Ocak’ta Jr., Bambam ve Youngjae’nin teaserları yayınlandı. JYP, JB’yi grubun lideri olarak seçti.

2014: Çıkış, Got It ve Got Love
10 Ocak 2014’te JYP, Got7’ın ilk çıkış teaserını, ardından 13 Ocak’ta ikinci çıkış teaserını Youtube’da yayınladı. 15 Ocak 2014’te Got7 Youtube’da ilk mini albümleri Got It?’den olan “Girls Girls Girls” adlı şarkıyı müzik videosuyla birlikte yayınladı. Got It? Albümü resmi olarak 20 Ocak’ta yayınlandı. İlk çıkış sahneleri 16 Ocak’ta M!Countdown’da oldu. Ardından sırasıyla Music Bank, Inkigayo ve Music Core’da performanslarını sergilediler. Girls Girls Girls birçok müzik listesinde birinci sıraya yerleşti. Melon’da erkek grupları arasında ikinci en iyi çıkışa sahip oldular. Albümleri Billboard World Album Charts’da birinci sıraya, Gaon Album Charts’da ikinci sıraya yerleşti. Çıkışlarından sonra, kendi programları “Real Got7”ı düzenlediler.
Got7, Japonya’da da aktivitelerini sürdürmek için Sony Müzik ile anlaştı ve 4 Nisan’da Tokyo’daki Ryougoku Sumo Salonu’nda 10.000 kişinin katıldığı “Got7 Showcase 1st Impact in Japan”ı düzenlediler. Grup sahne açılışını “Hello” ve “Girls Girls Girls” ile yaptı. Ayrıca JJ Project’in Bounce şarkısının geliştirilmiş bir versiyonuyla “Playgorund”, “I Like You” ve “Follow Me”yi seslendirdiler. 10 Nisan’da JYP Entertainment SBS MTV başlıklı “I GOT7” reality showunun ilk teaserını yayınladı.
5 Haziran’da, JYP Entertainment, Got7’ın bir müzik videosuyla birlikte 23 Haziran’da dönüş yapacağını açıkladı. 16 Haziran’da Got7 “A” teaserını yayınladı. 18 Hazirandaki Mnet’s M! Countdown’daki çıkışlarını takiben 19’unda bir showcase düzenlediler. 20 Haziran’da Got7 Music Bank’te “A” ile dönüş yaptı. Malezya’da çekilen müzik videosu 23 Haziran saat 12’de yayınlandı. 17-23 Haziran boyunca her gece yarısı hikaye videolarını Youtube hesaplarına yüklediler.
İkinci mini albümler “Got Love” 23 Haziran’da yayınlandı. “A” şarkısı mini albümü desteklemek için kullanıldı. Albümleri Billboard World Album Charts’da 6. Sıraya, Gaon Album Chrats’da 1. Sıraya yerleşti.
Youtube’da 7 Ağustos’da Real Got7 Sezon 1’in devamı olarak reality web showları Real Got7 Sezon 2’yi yayınladılar.

History of GOT7

Pre-debut
Alongside their labelmate 5Live, Got7 made their first pre-debut appearance on an episode of Mnet's reality-survival program Who is Next: WIN, which aired on September 6, 2013. On the episode, four members of Got7 competed against the YG Entertainment trainees: Team A (now Winner) and Team B.

Formation
It was first announced on December 24, 2013 that JYP Entertainment will be launching the debut of a 7-member boy group coined as the next 2PM . It was revealed that both members of JJ Project are also members of the new boy group. Got7 is JYPE's first hip hop group and they'll be a performance team specializing in 'martial arts tricking,' which is a form of martial arts with acrobatics. Although acrobatics and the word 'performance team' may bring 2PM to mind, the agency mentions that Got7 will be showcasing different types of performances with kicks and turns derived from martial arts with a fusion of b-boying style. On January 1, JYP Entertainment unveiled the group to be named Got7 and that the music video and the boys' showcase 'Garage Showcase' will take place on January 15. Their first stage will be through M! Countdown on January 16 and they'll drop their first mini album on January 20. After that, members Mark and JB's first image teasers were released on January 3 (KST). Teasers for Jackson and Yugyeom were released on January 6 followed by Jr., BamBam, and Youngjae's teasers on January 8. JYP selected JB to be Got7's leader.

2014: Debut, Got It? and GOT♡
GOT7 perform at M! Countdown
On January 10, 2014, JYP released Got7's first debut teaser video on YouTube, followed by the second debut teaser video on January 13. On January 15, 2014, Got7 officially released the music video for their debut song "Girls Girls Girls" from their first mini album Got It? on YouTube. Their mini album Got It? was officially released on January 20, 2014. They had their first debut stage on January 16, 2014, on Mnet's M! Countdown, followed by Music Bank, Inkigayo and then Music Core respectively. Got7's single, "Girls Girls Girls" reached number 1 on various music sites. They had the second highest debut on Melon for a boy group. Their album shot up to number 1 spot on the Billboard World Album Charts and a respectable number 2 on Gaon Album Charts. Days after their debut, Got7 also arranged their own reality web show, Real GOT7.
Got7 signed a contract with Sony Music to pursue activities in Japan, and held a showcase titled "GOT7 Showcase 1st Impact in Japan" on April 4 in Ryougoku Sumo Hall in Tokyo and 10,000 people were reported to attend the event. The group opened the stage with "Hello," and "Girls Girls Girls." They also performed an upgraded version of JJ Project 's "Bounce," as well as "Playground," "I Like You," and "Follow Me."
On April 10, JYP Entertainment released the first teaser for the group's reality show through SBS MTV titled, "I GOT7."
On June 5, JYP Entertainment revealed that Got7 will make a comeback on June 23 with a music video. JYP Entertainment released GOT7 "A" Teaser Image on June 16 . Thereafter, they held a showcase on the 18th followed by comeback stage on Mnet's M! Countdown on the 19th. On June 20, Got7 had a comeback at Music Bank with title track "A". The official MV was released at 12pm on June 23rd and was filmed in Malaysia. Their story videos were upload on YouTube daily at midnight 00.00 beginning June 17–23, 2014.
Their second mini album Got Love was released on June 23, 2014. The song "A" was used to promote the EP. Their album shot up to number 6 spot on the Billboard World Album Charts and a respectable number 1 on Gaon Album Charts.
Got7 also back with their own reality web show "Real GOT7" Season 2 on YouTube continuity of "Real GOT7" Season 1 and were upload on August 7.
