Lee Seung Gi’'nin sirketi Hook Entertainment'’in bir yetkilisi tarafindan 14 Mart'ta yapilan açiklamada “Lee Seung Gi, temmuz ayinda gerçeklestirilecek olan Londra Olimpiyatlari'nin mesale tasiyicilarindan biri olarak seçildi. Lee’nin seçilmesinde temel etmenlerden birisinin Samsung’un Londra Olimpiyatlari'nin sponsorlugunu yapmasi oldugu bildirildi. Samsung, ana sporsorlardan birisi olarak, mesale tasiyicilarindan birkaçini önerme hakkina sahip. Böylelikle, Samsung'’un kimchi buzdolaplari serisinin reklam yüzü olan Lee Seung Gi bu göreve seçilmis oldu.

Korea’s favorite all-round entertainer, Lee Seung Gi, will serve as a torchbearer for the upcoming London Olympics. On March 14th, a representative from Lee Seung Gi’s company, Hook Entertainment, stated, “Lee Seung Gi was chosen as a torchbearer for the London Olympics to be held on July. The specific details regarding it have yet to be revealed“.

It has been reported that one of the main factors in Lee’s representation was due Samsung‘s sponsorship of the London Olympics. As one of main sponsors, Samsung Electronics reserves the right to recommend a number of torchbearers, and thus, they chose Lee Seung Gi, their endorser for Samsung’s kimchi refrigerator line.

Lee Seung Gi is scheduled to depart for London after his completion of MBC‘s upcoming drama ‘The King 2 Hearts’, and his solo concert in Japan’s in June.

There have been reports that “The Moon that Embraces the Sun” star Han Ga In is also set to be a torchbearer, but this has yet to be confirmed. A Samsung marketing representative released a statement saying, “In regards to Han Ga In, nothing has been decided yet“.

Girls’ Generation Ingiltere’yi fethetti.

14 Martta, Ingiltere’de yayinlanan Guardian günlük gazetesi Girls’ Generation hakkinda bir haber yayinladi ve ‘The Boys’ sarkisini methetti.

Gazetedeki haberde, “Asya’yi esir alan Girls’ Generation Batili ülkeleri de fethetmeye hazir. Dört üye sistemini biraktilar ancak muhtesem görünüm ve sesleri ile mükemmel performanslari var.” denildi.

Girls’ Generation, Ocak ayinda CBS kanalinin ‘The Late Show with David Letterman’, ABC kanalinin popüler söylesi programi ‘Live! with Kelly’ ve NBC kanalinin Extra adli programlarina katilarak büyük ilgi topladi.

Guardian daha önce de Girls’ Generation hakkinda haber yapmisti. Geçen sene Ekim ayinda Kore Dalgasi veya Hallyu olarak adlandirilan bir fenomen olarak, Kore pop kültürünü tanittilar. Group SNSD captured the UK.

On March 14 (local time), the British daily newspaper Guardian reported on SNSD and praised their song “The Boys.”

The newspaper said, “SNSD, who captured Asia, is ready to conquer western countries. They gave up the 4 member system but they have the perfect appearance and voices with exquisite performance.”

SNSD appeared on CBS’s The Late Show with David Letterman, ABC’s popular talk show Live! with Kelly, and NBC’s Extra in January and drew a lot of attention.

Guardian has reported on SNSD before as well. They introduced Korean pop culture, a phenomenon nicknamed Hallyu or Korean wave in October of last year. They said, “Girl groups, including SNSD, are spreading K-pop fever all over the world.”

Actor Song Il Kook becomes the father of triplets

Song’un ajansindan bir yetkili, “16 Mart sabahi, Song II Kook’un esi Jung Seung Yeon Seul’deki bir hastanede üçüz ogullarini dünyaya getirdi.” seklinde açiklama yapti.

Anne ve üçüzlerin saglik durumlarinin iyi oldugu bildirildi. Üçüzlerin isimlerine henüz karar verilmis degil, fakat aile, bebeklere özel isimler bulmak amaciyla derin düsünmek üzere bir araya toplanmis durumda.

Ajans yetkilisi açiklamasinin devaminda, “Song II Kook, sikisik programi sebebiyle hamileligi boyunca karisinin yaninda yeterince bulunamadigi için her zaman üzgünlük yasadi. Dogum sonrasinda, karisinin elini tuttu ve hamileligi süresince 35 hafta boyunca kendisine dikkat edip saglikli kaldigi için ona tesekkür etti.” dedi.

A representative of his agency reported, “On the morning of March 16th, Song Il Kook’s wife Jung Seung Yeon gave birth to triplet sons at a hospital in Seoul.”

The mother and triplets are reported to be in great condition. The names of the triplets have not been decided yet, but the family is gathered in deep thought to come up with special names for the boys.

The representative continued, “Song Il Kook has always been sorry for not being able to be there for his wife during her pregnancy due to his busy schedule. After their birth, he held her hand and thanked her for being healthy for the past 35 weeks.”

The grandmother of the triplets, politician Kim Eul Dong, added, “I’ve been so busy lately that I wasn’t able to take care of my daughter-in-law that well, which I’m extremely apologetic for. Even one is just hard, but she gave birth to three. I’m very proud of her and thankful.”

On March 16, JYJ’s Park Yoo Chun and actor Park Yoo Hwan laid their father to rest at the Seoul Memorial Park. A representative stated, “Jaejoong has been crying nonstop since he arrived in Korea following the tour in South America. He showed signs of exhaustion, so we sent him home. Girls Generation, Super Junior, TVXQ ve diger SM Entertainment sarkicilari, son üç yilin satis rakamlarinin açiklanmasinin ardindan büyük ilgi toplamaya devam ediyor.

Financial Supervisory Servicein (Mali Denetim) veri analizi erisim ve aktarma sistemine göre, Girls Generation 2009 yilinda 17 milyar, 2010 yilinda 30 milyar ve 2011 yilinin ilk dokuz aylik döneminde yaklasik 22 milyar won kazandi. Buna göre, 2009un basindan 2011 yili Ekim ayina kadar geçen süre içerisinde yaklasik 69 milyar wonluk satis rakamini yakalamis bulunuyorlardi. The Boys albümünün yayinlandigi 2011 yili son üç ayini da eklersek bu rakam 70 milyar wonun çok daha üzerinde olacaktir. Girls Generation, Super Junior, TVXQ and other SM Entertainment singers have been garnering attention after their sales numbers from the past three years were revealed.

According to the Financial Supervisory Services data analysis retrieval and transfer system, Girls Generation made 17.003 billion won in 2009, 30.044 billion won in 2010, and 21.737 billion won up to the third quarter of 2011. Up until the third quarter of 2011, they had recorded sales of 68.811 billion won. Including the fourth quarter, which was when The Boys was released, it would be well over 70 billion won and over 100 billion won if it included sales from their Japan promotions.

Girls Generations 68.811 billion won revenue makes up 42% of the 161.954 billion won earned within the last three years by SM Entertainments top five artists, Super Junior, TVXQ, SHINee, f(x) and Girls Generation.
