Eunyul Talchum / 은율탈춤



Kore maskeli oyunlarından biri olan Eunyul talchum, Haseo bölgesindeki Sandaedogamgeuk’a ait olan maske danslarındandır. Bu dans, Dano Günü’nde, Buda'nın doğum gününde veya Baekjung Günü’nde (yılın yedinci dolunay) gösterilir. Biçim olarak Haeseo’daki Talchum’a benzer, ancak hareketleri Bongsan talchumunkilerle benzerlik gösterir. Gösteri, altı Madang ya da perdeden, Sajachum’dan (aslan dansı), Heotmok’dan (keşiş dansı), sekiz Mokjungchum’dan (sekiz keşişler dansı), Noseungchum’dan (eski keşiş dansı), Yeonggam’dan ve Halmichum’dan (yaşlı adam ve kadın dansı) oluşmaktadır. Bir sokak geçit töreni, gösteriden önce yer alır. Diğer maske danslarından daha fazla cinsel ifadelere sahiptir ve dinden dönen rahiplerden daha çok soylularla alay edilir. İncelenen temalar arasında, şeytan kovma, dinden dönen rahiplere karşı bir hiciv, soylularla alay etme, çirkin bir eş ile baştan çıkaran cariye arasındaki çatışma ve sıradan insanların yaşamları yer almaktadır. Eunyul talchum is one of the mask dances in the Haeseo region, belonging to Sandaedogamgeuk, one genre of masked plays in Korea. It is performed on the Dano Day, Buddha's birthday or the Baekjung day (the seventh full-moon of the year). The format is similar to Talchum in Haeseo but movements are similar to those of Bongsan talchum. The performance consists of six Madang or acts, Sajachum (lion dance), Heotmok (monk's dance), eight Mokjungchum (eight monks dances), Noseungchum (old monk's dance), and Yeonggam and Halmichum (old man and woman's dance). A street parade and sacrifice offering precede the performance. It has more sexual expressions than other mask dances, and ridicules the noblemen more than renegade monks. Among themes explored are exorcism, a satire on apostate monks, ridicule on the noblemen, the conflict between an ugly wife and a seductive concubine, and lives of the common people.
