S. Korea's Outward FDI Ranks 13th in the World

Dünya'da, G. Kore'nin Dış Yatırımları 13. Sırada Yer Alıyor

FDI yeni sunduğu raporda Güney Kore'nin genel olarak, küresel ve dışa yönelik yabancı yatırımın (FDI) geçen yıl arttığını tespit etmiştir.

Kore İthalat-İhracat Bankası tarafından yayınlanan rapora göre, Güney Kore'nin yabancı yatırımda 2011 yılında 13.7 oranında, geçen yıl ise 32.9 milyar ABD doları net çıkış yaptığı kaydedildi. Bu rakam ile Güney Kore, FDI açısından dünyada 13. sıraya yerleştirildi.

Güney Kore'nin yatırımı, gelişmiş ülkelere 57 oranında, gelişmekte olan ülkelerede yüzde 42 şeklindedir.

Bu arada, FDI'a göre 2011'de dünya yüzde 17 gerilemiştir.

FDI, raporda ağırlıklı olarak imalat, madencilik ve sanayi gibi bu tür merkezli yatırımları gerekçe gösterilerek, Güney Kore'nin daha çeşitli sanayiye doğru ilerlemesi gerektiğini vurguladı.

A new report finds that South Korea’s outward foreign direct investment (FDI) surged last year while in general global outward FDI shrank.

According to the report issued by the Export-Import Bank of Korea, South Korea’s FDI posted a net outflow of 32-point-nine billion U.S. dollars last year, up 13-point-seven percent from 2011. The figure placed South Korea in 13th place in the world in terms of outward FDI.

Fifty-seven percent of South Korea's investment went to developing countries and 41 percent to advanced countries.

Meanwhile, global outward FDI fell 17 percent compared to 2011.

The report stressed the need for South Korea’s FDI to go toward more diverse industries, citing that such investment mainly centered on manufacturing and mining industries.

NTS: Only 58% of 2013 Taxes Collected as of July

Yeni bir rapor, bu yılki vergi toplama hedefinin yüzde 60’ından daha azının yılın ilk yedi ayında, son 15 yılın en düşük rakamını göstererek, toplandığını belirtti.

Ana muhalefet Demokratik Parti Temsilcisi Lee In-young’ın Ulusal Vergi Servisi’nden aldığı rapora göre, vergi geliri Temmuz ayı itibariyle kabaca 116,5 trilyon won ya da yılın vergi toplama hedefinin %58,5’i kadar toplama ulaştı. Geçen yıl ve 2011 yılında aynı dönem süresince %65 vergi toplanmıştı.

Rapor, kurumsal gelir vergisi, miras vergisi ve bağış vergisinin ağır olduğunu belirtti.

Miras ve bağış vergilerinin aynı dönemde son iki yıldan 8 puan gerileyerek %48’i toplanmışken, Temmuz itibariyle gelir vergisinin, 2011 ve 2012 yılına kıyasla 9 puandan daha fazla gerileyerek sadece %48’i toplandı.

A new report finds that less than 60 percent of this year’s tax collection goal was met during the first seven months of the year, posting the lowest figure in 15 years.

According to the report that main opposition Democratic Party Representative Lee In-young got from the National Tax Service, tax revenue amounted to roughly 116-and-a-half trillion won as of July, or 58-and-a-half percent of this year’s tax collection goal. During the same period last year and in 2011, 65 percent of taxes were collected.

The report found that revenues of corporate, inheritance and donation taxes were sluggish.

Only 48-point-four percent of corporate taxes were collected as of July, down more than nine percentage points compared to 2011 and 2012, while 48 percent of inheritance and donation taxes were collected during the same period, down eight percentage points from the previous two years.

Cheil Industries to Sell Fashion Business to Everland

Cheil Sanayi Everland'i Moda Sektörüne Sattı

Samsung grubun altında yer alan kıyafet üreticisi Cheil Sanayi A.Ş, pazartesi günü grubun eğlence parkı kolunu moda sektörüne satacağını söyleyerek, malzeme işletmelerine odaklanmak için teklif sundu.

Cheil Sanayi yönetim kurulunun Samsung Everland A.Ş. 1 Aralık'ta moda sektöründen de facto şirketine transferini onayladığını söyledi.

Hükümet pazartesi günü Güney Kore ve Güneydoğu Asya Ülkeleri Birliği (ASEAN)'nin bu hafta pirinç stok yerlerinin kurulumunu içeren tarım alanında işbirliğini hızlandırma konusunda konuşacaklarını söyledi.

Tarım Gıda ve Köy İşleri Bakanlığı'na göre Japonya ve Çin'i de ilgilendiren ASEAN Plus Three toplantısı cuma günü Malezya'da yapılacak.

Bakanlık basın konuşmasında "Açılış konuşmasında bakan yardımcısı Lee Joon-won'un iklim değişikliğinden dolayı küresel gıda üretimindeki belirsizliklerin büyürken, gıda güvenliği gibi konularda ortak amaçların farkına varılması amacıyla ülkelerle birlikte çalışmanın önemini vurgulaması bekleniyor." dedi.

Tarım Bakanlığı önümüzdeki toplantısında ayrıca ASEAN'a üye 10 ülkeden ve Güney Kore'yi de kapsayan üç Kuzeydoğu Asya ülkesinde acil durumda kullanmak için 787,000 ton pirinç depolanması için pirinç rezerv yeri sisteminin kurulumu konusunda konuşacak.

ASEAN Plus Three Acil Pirinç Rezervi'nin kurulumunda 2012 Temmuz'da 13 ülke anlaşmayı imzaladı. Anlaşmaya göre, Güney Kore acil durum için 150,000 tonluk pirinç deposu sağlayacak.

Bakanlığın söylediğine göre Lee tarafından görevlendirilen Güney Kore temsilcileri ayrıca Myanmar ve Vietnam'dan meslektaşlarıyla çift taraflı işbirliği için konuşacak.

South Korea and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) will hold talks this week on boosting their agricultural cooperation that includes the establishment of a joint stockpile of rice, the government said Monday.

The so-called ASEAN Plus Three meeting will be held Friday in Malaysia, also involving China and Japan, according to the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs.

"Through his keynote speech, Deputy Minister Lee Joon-won is expected to stress a need for the countries to work together in order to realize their joint objectives, such as food security, while pointing to the growing uncertainties in global food production due to climate change," the ministry said in a press release.

The upcoming meeting of agricultural ministers will also focus on efforts to set up a joint rice reserve system, under which the 10 member countries of ASEAN and the three Northeast Asian countries, including South Korea, will store up to 787,000 tons of rice for emergency use.

The 13 countries signed an agreement for the establishment of the ASEAN Plus Three Emergency Rice Reserve in July 2012. Under the agreement, South Korea will provide up to 150,000 tons of rice to an emergency stockpile.

South Korean delegates, led by Lee, will also hold separate talks with their counterparts from Myanmar and Vietnam on boosting bilateral cooperation, the ministry said.
