Tarihçe
İstasyon 1962 yılında açıldı ve Gyeongbu hattındaki KTX trenler 1 Nisan 2004 tarihinde, yeni binanın tamamlanmasından kısa bir süre sonra hizmet başladı.

Hizmetler
Daejeon istasyonu Gyeongbu Hattındaki tüm KTX trenlere hizmet vermektedir. Ayrıca normal hız Gyeongbu Hattı üzerindeki ekspres hizmetleri ve yerel hizmetleri de vardır. İstasyon, Jungang hattına bağlayan kısa bir hat olan Daegu Hattı ve Daegu Subway tarafından servis edilmektedir. (Bu yer üstündeki tren ve metro istasyonları doğrudan bağlı değildir. Metro Hattı 1 istasyonu girişi demiryolu istasyonuna yakın bir parkın ordadır.) Dongdaegu böylece Daegu İstasyonu'nu da geçerek Daegu için baş istasyon haline gelmiştir.

Dongdaegu Station, meaning "East Daegu Station", is a railway station in Daegu, South Korea. It is on the national high-speed KTX railway network, 282km south of Seoul Station.

History
The station opened in 1962 and KTX trains on the Gyeongbu Line began services on April 1, 2004, shortly after the completion of the new building earlier that year.

Services
Daejeon Station serves all KTX trains on the Gyeongbu Line. It also has express services and local services on the normal speed Gyeongbu Line. The station is served by the Daegu Line, a short line which connects to the Jungang Line, and also by the Daegu Subway. (The overground railway and subway stations are not connected directly: the Subway Line 1 station entrance lies in a park close by the railway station.) Dongdaegu has thus become the chief station for Daegu, surpassing Daegu Station.
