2004 yılının Nisan ayında açılan Donglim Knot Müzesinin, geleneksel Kore maedeup (fiyonk) dekoratifleri üzerine çeşitli sergileri vardır: Hanbok için Norigae, kemer, kese, iplik benzeri materyaller, kordon ve aksesuarlar... Bir Hanok (Geleneksel Kore Evi) içindeki galerilerin, eski-yeni sanat eserleri ve modern trendleri yansıtan eserler de dahil olmak üzere çeşitli sergileri vardır.

Ayrıca müzede, müze müdürü Sim Yeong-mi'nin çırağı tarafından çalıştırılan maedeup sınıfı hizmet verir. Derslerde bir günlük programın yanı sıra uzun vadeli programlar da mevcuttur. Katılmak için en az iki gün önceden arayınız: (+82-2-3673-2778, Korece). Sabah 10'dan akşam 6'ya kadar faaliyet gösteren sınıflar maksimum 12 kişilik kapasiteye sahiptir. Müze pazartesi günleri kapalıdır. Talimatlar sadece Korece verilir, bu yüzden yabancıların yerel bir rehber ile gelmeleri tavsiye edilir.

Introduction

Opened in April 2004, Donglim Knot Museum has on exhibit a variety of decorative traditional Korean maedeup (knots): norigae for hanbok, belts, pouches, as well as materials like thread, cord, and accessories. Housed in a hanok, a traditional Korean house, the gallery has a variety of exhibits, including old and new artwork, and creations that reflect modern trends.

The museum also operates a maedeup class taught by an apprentice of museum curator Sim Yeong-mi. Lessons are available in a one-day program as well as in a long-term program. To participate, call (+82-2-3673-2778, Korean) at least two days in advance. The classes operate from 10am to 6pm and have a maximum capacity of 12 people. The museum is closed on Mondays. Instructions are given only in Korean, so foreigners are advised to come with a local guide.

* By purchasing a pass for 10,000 won, visitors can get access to all five museums (Gahoe Museum, Dong-Lim Museum, Hansangsu Embroidery Museum, Seoul Museum of Chicken Art, Museum of Korean Buddhist Art) that are within five minutes walk from each other.

Advanced reservation is required for the group of 7 or more people.
