The Boss and C.N. Blue compete for the Best New Artist award



This year, competition is heated for the 20th High One Seoul Gayo Awards Best New Artist award. While many talented groups have debuted and demonstrated their potential in 2010, the trophy can go to only one.

On January 10th there was an announcement that 13 teams are competing for the Best New Artist award this year. Among these are The BOSS and C.N. Blue.

This year, voting will occur through mobile (3321+NATE/SHOW/OZ or ***3321+SHOW) and ARS (0606-900-0999) technology. So far, The BOSS's "Admiring Boy" has received 36.3% of votes, while C.N. Blue is following closely with 35.5%, which is only an .8% difference.

F.Cuz's 10.6% has dropped to 9.5%, while SISTAR has risen to 6.2% from their original 5.7% of votes.

Real-time results are available on the Seoul Gayo Awards homepage. The High One Seoul Gayo Awards will be presented at a Korean Wave Culture Event at Seoul Kyung Hwee University of Peace on January 20th. To celebrate the Korea Grand Sale taking place between January 10th and February 28th, many international fans have been invited to attend the awards ceremony. The awards show will be aired on Y★star and comedyTV from 7-10 PM, via the Entertainment Special Cable channel.

The Boss’ Jay to play a blind boy in upcoming film, “Ocean”

The Boss’dan Jay Yeni Çikacak Olan Film “Ocean”da Bir Kör Genci Oynayacak

Jay, Hallyu idol grubu The Boss grubunun üyesi ve ekran karsisinda oyuncu olarak çikisini yapacak.

Jay,"Ocean" filminde 'Taesung' adinda kör bir gencin rolüne girdi. Go Hee Soo ve Kim Jin Yi ile filmde yan yana olacak.

Ortalama rollerden biraz daha fazla egitim gerektiren bir rol olmasina ragmen Jay oynadigi karakteri çok güzel ifade etme yetenegi sayesinde kadroyu etkiledi.

Filmin 1 Eylül'de vizyona girmesi planlaniyor.

Jay, a member of Hallyu idol group The Boss, will be making his debut on the big screen!

Jay has been cast as the role of a blind boy named ‘Taesung’ in the movie, “Ocean“. He’ll be acting alongside Go Soo Hee and Kim Jin Yi.

Since the role requires a bit more training than the average role, Jay impressed staff with his ability to express his character beautifully.

The movie is scheduled to hit theaters on September 1st.

The Boss releases full audio for “Lady”

The Boss 'Lady' sarkisini yayinladi

5 gün önce The Boss'un 'Lady' sarkisi için 2. bir uzun tanitim yayinlayacagi duyurulmustu. Grup bugün 2. single albümlerinin 'Lady' sarkisini tamamen yayinladi.

Sarki yayinlandiktan sonra internet kullanicilari 'The Boss çok karizmatik ve harika! Imaj degisimlerini tamamlamislar ve basarili sarkilari ile geri geldiler. The Boss kesinlikle olgunlasti.' diye yorumladi.

The Boss Japonya'daki çikislarindan sonra 'Lady' sarkisi ile Kore'de geri dönüs yapti.

few days ago we reported that The Boss released an extended version of their 2nd music video teaser for “Lady“. Today the group has released the full audio for their second single “Lady“.

After hearing the audio, netizens commented, “The Boss is so charismatic! So Cool”, “They completely changed their image”, “They’re coming back as ballad singers, sweet”, “The Boss has definitely matured”.

The Boss is making their comeback in Korea with “Lady” after promoting in Japan.

The Boss releases PV for “Honki Magic”

The Boss "Hongki Magic" İçin PV Yayınladı

Talihsiz bir olaydan sonra haksız söylentiler yayıldıktan sonra The Boss planlanan Kore promosyonlarından vazgeçmek ve Japonya'ya dönerek faaliyetlerini orada devam ettirmek zorunda kaldı.

Çocuklar geçmişi geride bırakmış gibi görünüyor. Gelecek ay piyasaya sürülecek 6. Japonca single parçalarını öne aldılar. Yayının ilerlemesiyle "Hongki Magic" için PV hazırladıklarını açıkladılar. Parlak bir gösteri ile yazı bu pop-rock melodi ile birlikte geçirmek için bekliyoruz.

After being unjustly swept up in rumors after an unfortunate scandal, The Boss had to forgo their scheduled Korean promotions to return back to Japan to resume their activities there.

The boys are looking to put the past behind them and move forward with the release of their 6th Japanese single, which is scheduled for release next month. Ahead of its release, they’ve unveiled the PV for “Honki Magic“, showing off a bright, summery look to go along with the pop-rock tune.
