DJ Tukutz (born November 19, 1981), is the disc jockey for the group. DJ Tukutz first got into DJ-ing in the summer of 1995 while spending his time at illegal raves and warehouse parties, where his passion for the scene and music began. He started playing at local raves and parties in Japan's underground Hip-Hop scene, before moving up to South Korea in 2000 to attend the Technics DJ School. After returning from the academy, he hooked up with Tablo and headed to the states. He worked and DJ-ed on radio shows, live events and clubs around the Boston and New York City area.

15 Ekim 2009’da DJ Tukutz, 2 yıllık zorunlu askerlik hizmetini yerine getirmek için Gyeonggi Eyaleti’ndeki Uijeongbu’da yer alan kampa girdi.

DJ Tukutz, 9 Ağustos 2011 tarihinde askerden geri döndü.

2012 yılında, DJ Tukutz ve Mithra Jin’in bundan böyle Woolim Entertainment altında çalışmayacakları ortaya çıktı. Haziran / Temmuz aylarında, Epik High’ın YG altındaki geri dönüşü için kostümler hazırladıklarını söyleyen tasarımcıların gelen tweet ve yine Epik High’ın yeni albümünü dört gözle beklediğini söyleyen Jerry K’in Tablo’ya attığı bir tweet ile birlikte Epik High’ın geri dönüşü ile ilgili olarak YG Entertainment’in Stok Raporu’nda yılın ikinci yarısında geri döneceğinin ipuçları verildi. 25 Temmuz 2012 tarihinde, YG Entertainment, üç yıllık bir aradan sonra Epik High’ın Eylül ayında geri dönüş yapacaklarını resmen duyurdu.

DJ Tukutz first got into DJ-ing in the summer of 1995 while spending his time at illegal raves and warehouse parties, where his passion for the scene and music began. He started playing at local raves and parties in Japan's underground hip-hop scene, before moving to South Korea in 2000 to attend the Technics DJ School. After returning from the academy, he partnered up with Tablo and headed to the States. He worked and DJ-ed on radio shows, live events and clubs around the Boston and New York City area.

In 2003, along with Tablo and Mithra Jin, they formed the rap group Epik High.

On October 15, 2009, DJ Tukutz entered the military to serve his mandatory 2 years service at the camp in Uijeongbu, Gyeonggi Province.

DJ Tukutz arrived back from the military on August 9, 2011.

In 2012 it was revealed DJ Tukutz & Mithra Jin were no longer signed to Woollim Entertainment. Around June/July several hints were given to the possible Epik High comeback in the second half on the year such as the YG Entertainment Stock Report, a tweet from a fashion Designer which said that they're making the costumes for Epik High's comeback under YG, and a tweet from Jerry K to Tablo that said he is anticipating the new Epik High album. On July 25, 2012, YG officially announced that Epik High would make their comeback in September, after a three year hiatus as a group.
