Danny Ahn , 22 Aralık 1978’de Seattle Washington’da doğdu. Güney Kore rap grubu G.O.D’nin repçisidir ve eşsiz bir rap yeteneği vardır. Kendisinden büyük bir ablası vardır. Dankuk Üniversitesi Tiyatro ve Oyunculuk Bölümü’nü bitirmiştir.
K-Pop müzik endüstrisinde ilk çıkışını şarkıcı Uhm Jung Hwa’nın repçisi olarak yapmıştır ve ardından G.O.D’nin repçisi olmuştur. G.O.D 2000’li yıllara kadar çok ünlü bir gruptu. 28 Mayıs 2007 yılında ilk solo albümünü yayınladı. Kiss The Radio showunda bir radyo Djliği yapmıştır.
2008 yılında diğer adı The Longest 24 Months da olan Crazy Waitings filminde rol aldı. Kbs dizisi The Slave Hunters’da Baekho karakterini canlandırdı.Ve yine bir KBS showu olan Let's Go Dream Team season 2 ‘de takım lideri olarak bulundu. Bunların dışında The Fugitive Plan B ‘de ( Baek Nam Jung ). Ve The Innocent Man’de Rain Song Joong – ki gibi oldukça ünlü isimlerle beraber dizilerde rol aldı.

Danny Ahn was born Ahn Shin-won on December 22, 1978 in Seattle, Washington. He is a Korean American actor and rapper of the South Korean boy band g.o.d. He is notable for his unique rapping. He has one older sister. He attended Department of Theater/Acting in Dankuk University
He debuted in the K-pop industry as a rapper for singer Uhm Junghwa, and then became a part of boyband g.o.d. (short for "groove overdose"); the group became one of the most popular groups in the 2000s. He released his solo album on May 28, 2007. He also was a radio DJ on the show Kiss The Radio.
In 2008, he appeared in Crazy Waiting, also known as The Longest 24 Months. He appeared as Baekho in the KBS drama, The Slave Hunters. He appeared in KBS Let's Go Dream Team season 2, and was the leader of the team. He also appeared as Manager Baek Nam Jung in The Fugitive: Plan B alongside Rain, Lee Jung-jin, Daniel Henney and Lee Na-young, and The Innocent Man (TV series) with Song Joong-ki and Moon Chaewon. He was a permanent guest on SBS's talkshow Strong Heart.
In May 2012, Ahn starred opposite Ryu Shi-won as Gye Dong-hee, a friend to Ryu's Seung-hyuk in Channel A's Goodbye Dear Wife. He is currently a commentator/host on We Got Married along with Lee Ji Hye who he has been dubbed a fake couple with as they kept coincidentally turning up in matching outfits for the we got married filming. The other hosts are Park Mi Sun and Kim Jung Min.
