Coex’e Hoş Geldiniz

Coex, Seoul’ün ticaret bölgesi Gangnam’ın ticaret ve kültür merkezinin kalbidir. Welcome to Coex!

Coex is a business and cultural hub located in the heart of Gangnam, Seoul’s business district. It is a popular entertainment destination in Seoul for both domestic and foreign visitors, and welcomes an average of 150,000 people a day. Asia’s largest underground mall, three five-star hotels, two premier office towers, a department store, a subway station, an airport terminal, and more are all located at Coex.

Coex is also Korea’s top business events destination. The Coex Convention and Exhibition Center itself is a four-floor meetings venue with over 450,000㎡ of total floor space. There are over 200 exhibitions and 2,000 conferences here each year.

Tarihi

Büyük bir fuar merkezi inşa etme fikri, 5 yıllık bir kalkınma planının (1972-1976) bir parçası olarak geliştirilmiştir. Aralık 1976’da Devlet Başkanı Park Chung Hee, Kore’nin ilk fuar merkezinin Han Nehri’nin güneyindeki planlı gelişme alanında inşa edilmesini onaylamıştır. Bu fuar merkezi, daha fazla dış ticareti teşvik ederek ticaret fuarlarında Kore endüstrisini göstermek amacıyla bir mekan sağlamaktadır.

1979

1979’da fuar merkezi KITA’in (Kore Uluslar Arası Ticaret Derneği) bir alt kuruluşu olarak açılmıştır. 1986’da KITA’in ortaklığı adı altında KOEX adıyla ayrı bir şirket haline getirilmiştir.

1988

1979’dan 1988’e kadar KOEX, Kore’nin ekonomik gelişiminde önemli bir rol oynamıştır. 1988’de Seoul Olimpiyatları ile birlikte fuar merkezine toplantı tesisleri eklenmiştir. Coex, Kore Dünya Ticaret Merkezi’nin bir parçası haline gelmiştir ve ticaretle ilişkili aktiviteleri desteklemek amacıyla Ticaret Kulesi, Büyük Kıtalar Arası Hotel, yeni Hyundai Mağazası ve Şehir Havaalanı inşa edilmiştir. On yıl sonra KOEX, konferansların önemli rolünün artması için Coex (Konferans & Fuar Merkezi) olarak yeniden adlandırılmıştır.

2000

Önceki yıllardaki tablolara kıyasla, Samseong-Dong’da yer alan bu önemli gelişmeyi görebilirsiniz. Coex sitesi, 2000 Asya-Avrupa Mitingi için yeni inşa edilen Kongre ve Sergi Merkezi, ASEM Kulesi, Coex Alışveriş Merkezi ve Coex Kıtalar Arası Hoteli ile yeni bir deneyim yaşayacaktır. 2002 yılında Coex, FIFA Dünya Kupası Medya Merkezi’ne ev sahipliği yapmış ve 2004 yılında ISO 9001 sertifikasını almaya hak kazanmıştır.

Günümüz

Coex’teki hızlı gelişmeler, günümüze kadar devam etmiştir. Coex, Kore’deki bir numaralı kongre ve fuar merkezi statüsünü elde etmiştir. Burada tek bir çatı altındaki her şey ile sizler, şu an yeni tiyatrolarda, Coex Anfisi’nde, marketlerde ya da eğlenceli Piyano Çeşmesi Parkı’ndaki ve güzel bahçelerimizdeki müzikalleri izleyebilirsiniz. “Yeşil Kampanya” ile başlatılan ve daha fazla yeşil mekanla, kuruluşumuzun sürdürülebilir gelişimine ve refahına olan odak giderek artacaktır.

History

The idea to build a major exhibition center was developed as part of a 5-year economic development plan (1972-1976). In December 1976, President Park Chung Hee approved the construction of Korea’s first exhibition center in the planned development area south of the Han River. This exhibition center would provide a venue to showcase the Korean industry in trade shows, encouraging greater foreign trade.

1979

In 1979, the exhibition center was opened as a subsidiary of KITA, Korea International Trade Association. It became a separate corporation named KOEX in 1986, under the ownership of KITA.

1988

From 1979 to 1988, KOEX played an important role in the economic development of Korea. In 1988, coinciding with the Seoul Olympics, meeting facilities were added to the exhibition center. Coex became part of the Korean World Trade Center and constructed the Trade Tower, the Grand Inter Continental Hotel, the new Hyundai Department Store and City Air Terminal in order to support trade related activities. Ten years later, KOEX was re-branded Coex, Convention & Exhibition Center, to signify the increasingly important role of conventions.

2000

When comparing to the previous picture, one can see the considerable development that had taken place here in Samseong-Dong, Developments at Coex were remarkable with more yet to come. The Coex site would experience yet another makeover in time for the 2000 Asia-Europe Meeting, which would include a newly built Convention & Exhibition Center, ASEM Tower, Coex Mall, and Coex Inter Continental Hotel. In 2002, Coex hosted the FIFA World Cup Media Center and in 2004 it acquired ISO 9001 certification.

Today

Rigorous improvements at Coex have continued until today. Coex has maintained its status as number one convention and exhibition center in Korea. With everything here under one roof, you can now watch musicals at the classy new theater, the CoexArtium, shop, dine, or relax in our fun Piano Fountain Park and beautiful gardens. With more green spaces and the initiation of a “Green Campaign” Coex increasingly focuses on sustainable growth and the well-being of our community.

Büyük Balo Salonu

Büyük Balo Salonu, ziyafetler, akademik kongreler, genel kurul ve gösteriler ile herhangi bir etkinliğin ihtiyaçlarına karşılamak için uyarlanabilmektedir. Büyük Balo Salonu, beş oda şeklinde ayrılmıştır ve plancıları tarafından mükemmel bir atmosfer oluşturmak için yüksek teknolojili A / V ve aydınlatma sistemleri ile donatılmıştır.

Fuarlar, Büyük Balo Salonu’nda kolaylıkla düzenlenebilir: sütunsuz bir alanda, mobilyalar düzenlemeye uyum sağlamak için yeniden konumlandırılabilir. Grand Ballroom

The Grand Ballroom can be tailored to meet the needs of any event host, for banquets, academic conventions, general assemblies, and performances. The Grand Ballroom can be partitioned into five rooms and is fully furnished with high-end A/V and lighting systems, allowing event planners to create the perfect mood.

Exhibitions can easily be set up in the Grand Ballroom: as a pillar-free space, furniture can be rearranged to accommodate any arrangement. Moreover, with swing doors at the entrance, it’s possible to allow large crowds convenient access to the hall. The spacious and attractive lobby can be used for registration areas, coffee breaks, and receptions.

Kuzey Konferans Salonu

ASEM Salonu, 2000 yılındaki 3.Asya – Avrupa Mitingi için özel olarak tasarlanmıştır ve Coex’in 2.katında yer almaktadır. ASEM Salonu’nun tasarımı, en güncel konferans teknolojisi ile geleneksel Kore sanatını birleştirerek güzellik ve işlevin lüks bir kombinasyonunu sağlamaktadır.

Gizlice yerleştirilmiş yorumlama kabinleri, aynı anda 32 dilde çeviriyi destekleyebilmektedir. Üstelik, tercümanların içinde bulunduğu kabinlerin hoparlörlere yakın olarak konumlandırılması nedeniyle konuşmacılar daha rahat bir şekilde anlaşılmakta ve tercümanlar, onların jest ve mimiklerini kolayca gözlemleyebilmektedirler.

ASEM Salonu’ndaki toplantı odaları, sağ ve sol tarafta 6’şar oda şeklinde salonun içine simetrik olarak yerleştirilmiştir ve bu odalar, ASEM Salonu’nun ev sahipliği yaptığı uluslar arası organizasyonlar ya da etkinlikler ile ilişkili olarak küçük seminerler amacıyla kullanılmaktadır. Onlar, konferans organizatörlerinin ihtiyaçlarına bağlı olarak toplam 14 oda şeklinde bölünebilirler.

Conference Room North

ASEM Hall was specially designed for the 3rd Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) in 2000, and is located on the 2nd floor of Coex. ASEM Hall’s design merges traditional Korean art with the most up-to-date conference technology, providing a luxurious combination of beauty and function.

17 discreetly positioned interpretation booths can support the simultaneous interpretation of up to 32 languages. Furthermore, because the booths are closely located (surrounding the conference room within) interpreters are positioned at the closest distance possible to the speakers, allowing for interpreters to see speakers’ facial expressions and gestures to allow for the greatest degree of understanding.

ASEM Hall meeting rooms are symmetrically positioned within the hall, six rooms on each side (on the left and right from the center), and are used mainly for small seminars related to events hosted at ASEM Hall, such as the secretariat during international conferences, or as VIP rooms. They can be partitioned into a total of 14 rooms, depending on the needs of conference organizers.

Dinleti Salonu

Kanat şeklindeki tavanı ve yelpaze şeklindeki koltuk düzenlemesi, mükemmel bir akustik ve görünüş sağlarken zarif bir atmosfer yaratmaktadır. Burası, konferanslar, müzik gösterileri ve ödül törenleri için çok popülerdir.

Auditorium

Art and Function merge in a luxurious and impressive space
The Auditorium is located on the 3rd floor of Coex and is a theater-type conference hall with 1,070 seats that is completely furnished with state-of-the-art equipment. Its wing-shaped ceiling and fan-shaped seat arrangement produce an elegant atmosphere while maintaining excellent acoustics and visibility. It’s very popular for conferences, musical performances and awards ceremonies.

E Salonu

Coex’in 3.katında yer alan E Salonu, çağdaş ve sofistike bir zarafeti uyandıran çok amaçlı bir salondur. Salonunun altı oda şeklinde bölümlenmesi nedeniyle verimli etkinlik planları kolaylıkla yapılabilmektedir.

E Salonu, konferanslar, düğünler ve uzun dönem etkinlikleri için oldukça popülerdir. Renk düzeni ve alt tavanı, konuşma için uygun ortam yarattığından dolayı büyük kongreler E Salonu’nda düzenlenmektedir. Bir Balo Salonu boyutu ve toplantı salonu rahatlığı ile E Salonu’nun hemen hemen her amaç için uygun olduğunu görebileceksiniz.

Hall E

Located on the 3rd floor of Coex, Hall E is a multipurpose hall that evokes a contemporary, sophisticated flair. Efficient event planning is made easier as the hall can be partitioned into six rooms.

Hall E is popular for conferences, weddings, and long term events. Larger conferences often use Hall E for a lounge or networking area, as the colour scheme and lower ceilings are well-suited towards conversation. With the size of a Ballroom, and the comfort of a boardroom, you'll find Hall E is suitable for almost any purpose.
