Chasabal / 찻사발

Chasabal, çay içilen kap (Korece'de çatsabal veya jubal) anlamına gelir. Dawan ve Chawan olarak da adlandırılır ancak ilk isim daha çok tercih edilir.

Sabal genelde evreni kapsayan küçük bir evrendir ve felsefe ile düşüncede zen kristalli göktür. Kabın dış kısmı, yukarı doğru uzanır ve zorlukla gök yüzüne uçan bir ejderha gibi görünür; adı da Yongseungseon(uçan ejderha çizgisi)'dur. Bu ejderha çizgisi sonsuza doğru uzatıldığında sınırsız bir evren oluşur ve sabalın alt kısmı, evreni tutan yer yüzünün ekseni olur.

Çay Kabının Kısımları

Ağız (dudak): çay kabının, dudakların veya ağzın değdiği kısmıdır.
Omuz: çay kabının ağzından %20-30 daha aşağıdaki kısımdır.
Karın: çay kabının ağzından %40-50 daha aşağısında yer alan, çay kabının orta kısmıdır.
Bel: çay kabının ağzından %60-70 aşağısında yer alan kısımdır.
Kesik Ayak Kısmı: çay kabı ayağının üst kısmıdır
Ayak: kabın ağırlığını destekleyen ve kabı dengede tutan çay kabı zeminidir.
İç ayak: iç ayağın çukurlu kısmıdır.
Ayak ucu: iç ayağın çıkıntılı orta kısmıdır.
Çay mendili yeri: çay mendili ile çay kabını kurularken baş parmağın değdiği kısımdır.
Çay fırçası yeri: toz çayı karıştırırken çay fırçasının değdiği kısımdır.
Artan çay kısmı: çay içildikten sonra içinde kalan çayın biriktiği, kabın ortasındaki yuvarlak girintili kısımdır.
İç kap: çay kabının ağzından başlayarak kabın iç kısmıdır.
Dış kap: çay kabının ağzından başlayarak kabın dış kısmıdır.

Chasabal means a cup(Sabal or jubal in Korean) from which to drink tea. It is also called Dawan or Chawan, and generally the first name is preferred.

Sabal is usually a small cosmos, which contains the cosmos and is a zen-crystallized space for philosophy and thinking . The exterior line of a cup stretches upward, which looks like a dragon flying forcefully to the sky, and is literally called Yongseungseon(a flying dragon line). When this dragon line is infinitely extended, an limitless cosmos is created, and the bottom of Sabal becomes the axis of the earth which supports the universe.

Mouth (Lip): the brim of a tea cup which lips or mouths touch
Shoulder: the part of a tea cup 20%~30% down from the mouth of the teacup
Abdomen: the central part of a tea cup 40%~50% down from the mouth of the teacup
Waist: the part of a tea cup 60%~70% down from the mouth of the tea cup
Cut Foot Part: the part cut at the upper part of a tea cup foot
Foot: the base of a tea cup which supports the cup weight and keeps the balance of the cup
Inside Foot: the dented part of the inside foot
Foot Tip: the central raised part of the inside foot
the place for a tea towel: the part of a tea cup which the thumb tip touches when wiping the tea cup with a tea towel
The place for a tea brush: the part of a tea cup which a tea brush touches when stirring powder tea
The place for remaining tea: the little round dented part at the central bottom inside the tea cup where the remaining tea gathers after drinking tea
Tea Cup Inside: the inside part of a tea cup from the mouth of the tea cup
Tea Cup Outside: the outside part of a tea cup from the mouth of the tea cup
