This Dance is performed by more than 120 young men from seven stakes(Gangseo, South, East, Dongdaernun, North, Seoul and Yeongdong Stake).
They are demonstrating the vigor of the faithful Saints and the dynamic nature of the Church in Korea.
The dance is designed to suggest the continuing growth of the church in the future and moving forward. The drum, which primarily has been used to express victory, new beginnings, and forward, is Korea's traditional instrument.
Bukchum, or Drum Dance, is a very creative performance suggesting hope for the future in the 21st century. It is composed with the hope of vanishing all human evils and disorder and forward into the world of the 21st centurv with a clean mind and body on the foundation of harmony and new vigor.
