Nakjukjang'in anlamı oymalı resim çalışması ya da kızgın demir ile bambuyu yakarak oymadır.
Nakjuk (kavrulmuş bambu) antik Çin'de kullanıldı.
Kore'de çok nadir bir teknolojiydi, ancak Kral Sunjo saltanatının sonunda Park Changgyu Japon Emperyalizm çağında teslim edildi.
Belirli bir sıcaklıkta oymak ve kızgın demir soğumadan işi bitirmek gibi mesleki deneyimleri olması gerekir.
Ok mili, vaka, akupunktur iğneleri, kılıç kavrama, katlanabilir ekran, pipo, katlama fan, ve fırça standı için kullanılır.
Nakjuk da katlama fan takılı bambu kaburga (Hapjukseon) kullanılır.
Geleneksel bir teknoloji olarak, Nakjukjang turistik yerlerde hayatta kalmayı basarmıştır.

Nakjukjang means a work of carving pictures or words with scorching bamboo with red-hot iron or a person to do the work.
Nakjuk (scorched bamboo) had been used from the ancient china.
It was very rare technology in Korea, but it was handed down to the era of Japanese Imperialism by Park Changgyu in the end of the reign of King Sunjo.
As manufacturers must carve figures in a certain temperature and finish the work before red-hot iron gets cold, they must have occupational experiences.
It was mainly used in arrow shaft, case for acupuncture needles, sword grip, folding screen, tobacco pipe, folding fan, and brush stand.
Nakjuk is also used in bamboo ribs (Hapjukseon) attached to folding fan.
As a traditional art technology, Nakjukjang has managed to survive in tourist places amid sluggish demands.
Accordingly, it was designated as an important intangible cultural asset with an aim to preserve the technology.
