Baekryeon Temple (백련사 / Baekryeon-sa)

Hakkinda;

Baekryeonsa (Beyaz Lotus Tapinagi) Gangjin yilinda kamelya agaçlari ile ünlüdür. Tapinagin zemini içinde, biri en az 250 yasinda bir yasli krep mersin agaci, kamelya ve hindistan cevizi agaçlari ve genis ormanlari görebilirsiniz. Kamelya agaçlari özellikle muhtesemdir. Yaklasik 300 yasinda fazla 3.000 kamelya agaçlari, yogun 20.000 pyeong hakkinda (16 dönüm civarinda). Bu orman ulusal bir hazine, Dogal Anit No 151 olarak kayitlidir. Baekryeonsa, baslangiçta Mandeoksa denilen Mandeoksan Dagi üzerinde bulunmaktadir. Tapinak Birlesik Silla Hanedanligi, 839'da Kral Munseong döneminde kurulmustur. Ana Buddha Salonu Silla Hanedanligi döneminde insa edildi ve Sakyamuni Buda heykeli bulunmaktadir.

Baekryeonsa (White Lotus Temple) in Gangjin is famous for its camellia tree forest. Inside the temple grounds, one can see an aged crape myrtle tree that is at least 250 years old, and the vast forests of nutmeg trees and camellia trees. The camellia tree forest is especially marvelous. More than 3,000 camellia trees, which are about 300 years old, densely cover about 20,000 pyeong (around 16 acres). This forest is a national treasure, registered as Natural Monument No. 151.
Baekryeonsa, originally called Mandeoksa, is located on Mandeoksan Mountain. The temple is from the Unified Silla Dynasty, founded during the reign of King Munseong in 839. The Main Buddha Hall is said to have been built during the Silla Dynasty, and holds a statue of Sakyamuni Buddha
