Bu tapınak Kral Gojong(1894) otuzbirinci yılında yangınla tahrip edildi, ama Budist rahipler Gyeongheun ve Geumo tarafından restore edildi.

Located in the ridge of Mt. Baegunsan and a unique temple which survived the oppression of Joseon Dynasty among about 80 temples which were existing in the times of Korea Dynasty.
This temple was destroyed in a wild fire in the 31st year of King Gojong (1894), but was restored at the present site by Buddhist Priests Gyeongheun and Geumo.
