1980 yilinda bir Hiristiyan misyoner grubu tarafindan kurulan Hallelujah FC K-Liginin kurucu üyesi oldu ve 1983 yilindaki açilis töreninde sampiyon oldu.

1984 de 4. Yillinda sampiyon Daewoo Royals takiminin 14 puan arkasindaydilar ama iyi devam edemediler 1985 ise tam bir felaketti ligi sadece 13 puanla sonuncu olarak kapattilar ve o yil k-liginden çekildiler.
1988 yilinda Baskanlik kupasi amatör takimda kazandigi galibiyet onun profesyonel olmayan gruplarda basarali izlenimi verdi.

Hallelujah Iksan sehrine tasindi ve 2003 sezonu için Ulusal Lige katildi.Ancak Iksanin radikal Wonbuddhist guruplari tarafindan protesto edildi.Iki sampiyonluk etabindan yalnizca birine katilabildi.2004 yilinda Gimpo ya tasindi ve ismi Gimpo Hallelujah olarak degistirldi. 2007 sezonu itibaren kulüp Ansan tasindi ve takimin adi tekrar, Ansan Hallelujah olarak degistirildi.

Ansan Hallelujah FC

Founded in 1980 by a Christian missionary group, Hallelujah FC became a founding member of the K-League in 1983 and won the inaugural championship.

They failed to defend their title in 1984 coming in 4th, 14 points behind champions Daewoo Royals, and in 1985 they had a disastrous season finishing bottom with only 13 points. The club dropped out of the K-League at the end of that year.

A win in the 1988 President's Cup amateur competition followed as the team prospered in the non-professional ranks.

Hallelujah moved their home base to the city of Iksan and joined the National League for the 2003 season, but participated in only the first of the two championship stages as protests by radical Wonbuddhist groups in Iksan forced the Christian side out of their home stadium. For 2004 the club moved to Gimpo and the team's name was changed to Gimpo Hallelujah. From 2007 season, the club moved to Ansan and the team's name was again changed, directly to Ansan Hallelujah.
