Hava Kuvvetlerinin Yeni Yıl Öncesi Uçuşu
Yeni yıl günü öncesindeki bir görevde ; “Peace Eye” olarak adlandırılan Güney Kore havadan erken uyarı ve kontrol sistemiyle beraber F-15 K avcı uçakları Güney Kore’nin kuzeydoğu bölgesi dağları boyunca uçtu. Peace Eye’ın içindeki Hava Kuvvetleri Kurmay Başkanı Sung Il-hwan tarafından yönetilen uçak acil durumlarda çatışmaya hazırlık gücünü göstermek için tasarlanmıştır.

On a mission ahead of the New Year’s Day, South Korea’s airborne early warning and control system, dubbed “Peace Eye,” and F-15K fighters fly in formation over mountains in South Korea’s northeastern area on Dec. 31, 2012. The flight, led by Chief of Staff of the Air Force, Sung Il-hwan, who was aboard Peace Eye, was designed to show the force’s combat preparedness in case of emergencies.
