Polis Yeni Hükümet Geldiğinden Beri ilk Kez Protestocuları Dağıtmak İçin Basınçlı Su Kullandı
Polis, perşembe günü şehir merkezinde Kuzey Kore ile daha iyi ilişkiler isteyen göstericileri dağıtmak için Başkan Park Geun-hye hükümetinde ilk kez kalabalığı kontrol amaçlı şiddet göstererek basınçlı su kullandı.
Seoul istasyonu yakınındaki bir alanda protesto yapan binlerce insan ; hükümeti, gerçekleşeceğinden şüphe duydukları Kuzey Kore ile uzlaşma projelerine devam etmede aceleci olmaya çağırdı. Protestoyu düzenleyenlere göre 5,000’in üzerinde katılımcı vardı, polisin tahminlerine göre ise alanda yaklaşık 3,500 protestocu mevcuttu.

Police fired a water cannon Thursday to break up a downtown protest that called for better relations with North Korea, marking the first time the forceful means of crowd control has been used under the President Park Geun-hye administration.
Thousands of people rallied in a plaza in front of Seoul Station, urging their government to resume all suspended reconciliation projects with North Korea. Organizers put the number of participants at about 5,000, while the police estimate there were some 3,500 protestors.
